In my opinion, for whatever that's worth, he should have taken his net proceeds from the sale of his parents' house in Oakland, bought a modest car, rented a modest apartment in a safe neighborhood, and started getting some formal training. That could have been in the form of vocational training or college. He could have started at a local community college on a part-time basis to get into the swing of being a student and later transferred to a university. I know some persons laugh at community college but at least some provide quality education. I audited a calculus 1 class at Mesa Community College about 25 years ago and was impressed with the quality of instruction and the curriculum. Nick could still continue to work on his IG and other on-line presence while getting training. Instead he seems to be frittering his money away. Some on-line personalities make significant incomes from it. Getting some training, though, will at least get him marketable skills in case that doesn't pan out. I hope he changes his practices before it's too late.

My grandpa was a millionaire, and never once talked about how rich he was. In fact you would of thought he was poor the way he lived. The man would eat an apple, core and all because he grew up in the Great Depression and didn’t want to waste anything. Rich people don’t need to scream it from the rooftops.

My grandparents are multi millionaires and it’s the same pattern. They never ever flex. Mi abuelo was deported by soviets to siberia, came back to poverty with nothing and built up to incredible wealth. Never seen him flex, nor his friends. And our family friends are equally as rich and some even more. All of them drive regular cars no rollses, no bentleys no flashy jewelry. Very simple people who got values live good life that just got a lot of 0’s in their bank accounts.

No. You are not. I feel bad for this guy too. In my opinion, for whatever that's worth, he should have taken his net proceeds from the sale of his parents' house in Oakland, bought a modest car, rented a modest apartment in a safe neighborhood, and started getting some formal training. That could have been in the form of vocational training or college. He could have started at a local community college on a part-time basis to get into the swing of being a student and later transferred to a university. I know some persons laugh at community college but at least some provide quality education. I audited a calculus 1 class at Mesa Community College about 25 years ago and was impressed with the quality of instruction and the curriculum. Nick could still continue to work on his IG and other on-line presence while getting training. Instead he seems to be frittering his money away. Some on-line personalities make significant incomes from it. Getting some training, though, will at least get him marketable skills in case that doesn't pan out. I hope he changes his practices before it's too late.
There is a certain threshold for sympathy. For all we know he may have some mental issues/trauma, but once you are so far down the path of poor life choices, I’m far less inclined to feel bad for a person like this.
