I still have some of those original BMC playsets; The Battle Of The Little Bighorn (Custer), the Battle Of Yorktown,etc. I never got the Alamo set but did buy some of the bagged figures. What I like about BMC-----then and now---is that the prices are reasonable AND you can always buy add-on sets too. So for example you can add extra artillery or horses or earthen redoubts to your Alamo scene.
I remember this set. One year as a kid, between my birthday and Christmas, I got 3 of these Alamo sets. I wish they all hadn't been lost over the years. It was an impressive sight with them all set up. These were quality toys in my opinion.

@@galleos4663 Oh yeah. The more the better. Though with 3 Davy Crocketts and 3 Jim Bowies, the Mexican Army was probably a little outmatched. : )
