i think what i like most about getting my quilty box is getting your tutorials on what to do with the stuff. your ideas is usually more fun than what comes in the box.
Thank you again for a pretty tutorial. Did anyone notice the face in the fabric in the seam ironing section? LOL! I think I need to check out Kathleen Starr's fabrics!!! Not that I need any fabric but hey ho - there's always room for a little bit more!

I did notice the face in the ironing segment and it is very visible towards the end when the quilt is hanging. Very weird looking face. but I really like the Rainbow Star Quilt. I'm going to keep that one in mind.
The shot at the end with me standing next to the quilt is the finished design. The finished size is 32 inches square and it does make 2 quilts. You can definitely add borders if you wish to make the quilts larger.
I've been thinking about that all week and I think I'm going to quilt different designs into each color of the quilt. It's going to be a multi-video series that will start next Monday!
This is a quilting term for a cut of fabric. A fat quarter is a half yard of fabric that is sliced in half so it's wider (around 18 x 21) verses a skinny 1/4 yard which would be 9 x 42 inches. A fat eighth is a fat quarter cut in half. So these were around 9 x 21. Does that make sense?
