Few months ago, I was given a pronunciation guide. When the simple form of a verb ends in p/k/s/ch/sh/f/x/h pronounce ED as "t". When the verb ends in l/v/n/m/r/b/g/w/y/z and vowels pronounce ED as "d". If the verb ends in t/d pronounce ED as a separate syllable "id".
Loved it! When it comes to learning, there's nothing better than PRACTICE. No cumbersome theory or explanations, just repetition and practice. That's how natives learn.
this is the best training to speak correctly in English. all because we are able to pronounce the irregular verbs correctly. However, the secrect is that we can be pronounced the regular verbs in the past correctly. it shall be sounding pretty good.
the pronunciation of /t/ - /d/ - /id/ are very important for me because i help me for talk with person of another country when i use the regular verbs in the past tense. the video there are verbs very interesting to i didn't know but now i do know that.
awesome. good teaching practice. by wet I don't understand meaning as well as country like words means Hindi or Marathi or English meening understood method thanks good teacher. I collected distinuary word voluabuary thanks again.
Thank you for the video - like the clarity and the extent of the list for each pronunciation. Question/suggestion: If students want to apply the rule to other verbs, would it be helpful to mention that we only add an extra syllable /Id/ after the sound /d/ or /t/?
This video is very interesting because it helps me know how to pronounce regular verbs and also learn new verbs. :) Student: Luz Aldazabal R. Teacher: Rosario Uribia. Elementary IV

why pronunciate some words ending with "ted" > "did" and why some "ted" > "tid" example: repeated (...did), seperated (...did), waited (...did), and rejected (...tid), requested (...tid), suggested (...tid)

I can't believe it. You are the first person - probably the only one - that doesn't say all that stuff about voiced and unvoiced consonants! All those explanations about vocal cords make the student's brain a mess! Cheers
hola como están, bueno. yo estoy estudiando ingles. d 6:30 pm a 9:00 pm. y justo me están enseñando. los. regular verbs yo estudio en Miami Beach en la 14. de. Wachington ave. ahi mis profesores. son americanos. para mi es mejor. aunque no lo entienda. de todo pero. se. aprende. estoy en el tercel nivel. Low intermedio pero poco. apoco se aprende
You really should review the rules for your students. The voiced/voiceless thing is hard to understand, however if you tell people for example that the final sound before the -ed is the determining factor, then tell the sounds to listen for, it would be much more helpful. Plus, you have "typed" on the /d/ list and that's incorrect. Words that end with the final /p/ sound are voiceless and should sound like /t/ Typed should be /type-t/.
