"It is not hands that call us, it is desire." Now watch Cabin in the Woods, and pay CLOSE attention to the scene where the victims are in the monster prison, and the girl sees the cenobite knockoff. This line, THIS line, is why seeing him, made her realize her friends chose their fate.
16:32 People have to want to solve the box for the Cenobites to take them. Tiffany had OCD about puzzles so Pinhead knew it was Channard who rrally wanted to summon them.
Chatterer or as you call him “teeth”😂 has always been my favourite cenobite, he was the inspiration for Nemesis in resident evil, they didn’t really change the look at all just the size lol
The actor that played Chatterer had a difficult time seeing in the make-up/mask. So much so that he asked the director for help. They took the skin that was covering his eyes off for the climactic confrontation. That is why he looks so different in the final Cenobite scene. Earlier in the film he still has the original make-up and looks like he did in the first film. And yeah, you are right, Chatterer is awesome.
His backstory is also pretty sad since he was a Teen when he got transformed after living a live as a prostitute and being abused. I don’t 100% remember but I also think he got transformed after being tricked
@@Loser-lh8di Actually, the face peel scene was "fucked up" by one of the make up crew (as they put it). It would have happened as Julia is showing Channard through hell. Later a jump-scare scene which was never finished occurred as Kirsty and Tiffany would have attempted to escape the hospital in an elevator, and the doors open on the Chatterer with his new face roaring in at them. Bits of these scenes are seen in the trailer for the film, and the elevator scene is part of a recently dug-up deleted scene on the last Blu-ray release. So basically, it's a monumental continuity error that he looks completely different at the end, as they cut the transformation, and a jump-scare necessitating it...
This one is 50/50 for me, not as good as the first but there's some really good scenes. The one where the doctor gets turned into a Cenobite and the creation of Pinhead are awesome!
A long time lover of the written works of Clive Barker (he wrote the novella “The Hellbound Heart” that this is based on, which I read before I saw Hellraiser), I grew up as a teen in the late 90’s watching these films on VHS, then DVD. The score, gore and mythology of the first two films are so incredible to me. This film, as well as the first, has some iconic, timeless lines too. “The Doctor is in”, “We have eternity to know your flesh”, Nothing personal babe”, “I recommend amputation”, “Help me Doctor, help my daughter”, “Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell”, and the greatest one of the film, “Take your best shot, Snow White” 😂my friends and I used to quote them back and forth when a situation called for them. Great memories and good times. Believe it or not, this film is a comfort film for me 😂every time I watch it, it feels like home. Thanks for your great reaction!
20:03 : I love how they build a new Cenobite, in HR 2 uncensored , that was the first one. Then in HR3 & 4 also (the twins). It's link to their sins or deep wish (Like the twins who didn't want to be separate) And they go to the story about Leviathan and his dimension. 23:00 : If i understand well, the doctor was transformed to Cenobite but he was his full conscience yet with him, his free will. And he also gain all the knowledge he search. But Leviathan used the same kind of "tool" the doc used on his patient. And he "Smoothie" his brain to obey him.
Chatterer's human name was James and went by the name Jim. After being transformed into a Cenobite, Jim became Leviathan's second lieutenant and is Leviathan's right hand man. That's why there are a handful of versions of the Chatterer, including Torso. Torso is like a pet-sized Chatterer!
I feel really bad for Mister Browning. Poor guy after being crazy and cutting himself to shreds and being eaten by Julia. If you find the script of the film it gets a lot worse but I don't want to spoil it LOL
in this movie there is ONE scene that Icks me out and i LOVE horror, the man in the straight jacket played Skinless Frank in the First, In old asylums, they had corpse tunnels which led from the basement of the hospital to a crematorium, so that people wouldnt be shocked at all the deaths
Channard wanted someone to solve the box, and the mother brought tiffany, who was solving puzzles, channard killed the mother, then did more brain surgery to make her solve more and more puzzles but not have the will, yeah seriously messed up
If you like 4 I highly suggest if u haven't already find the deleted scenes that were never included anywhere. Most aren't polished, missing effects etc but it certainly adds a lot to the plot... interesting stuff for fans:)
This films series was definitely at the top of my list for highly rated horror flicks at least for the first four films anyways. Was forever a fan of the actor Doug Bradley as well as film director Clive Barker and a lot of his works after being introduced to this film! Also that interaction between you two during 7:59-8:10 was hilarious! lol 😂

After the Dr. transforms, a tenticle comes out from above and attaches itself to the Dr. Head, via the surgery he performed on that girls mom. The monster in the box is looking for someone like the Dr. to replace top spot from PinHead. When the girl solves the puzzle and closes the portal, the monster has to make a hasty retreat and thereby rips the Dr.'s head from his body to get back inside the box before it closes.
