This is awesome watch, one thing is missing the camera, my 4 years KINGWEAR KW88 Smartwatch $120 android smart watch/phone has a camera that can take a picture and video, but battery last only for 1 day. Huawei has a great watches but its to expensive. Good video man, God bless!

Speaking from a young man's perspective. I think the HUAWEI WATCH GT2E has the best design of all the HUAWEI wearables. Just imagine the GT2E running on Harmony OS.

Could you tell me what are the GPS options plz ? The pro is the first watch to support dual frequency (L5 frequencies for GPS for instance). So i'm curious to know what are the possibilities. it's NOT the same as activation two different constellations (GPS + Beidou or GPS + Galileo).

Yes , my huawei watch fit has amazing analog faces with lots of data. Watch 3 and all the rest have too
Is the Elite version vs Pro difference in just the titanium strap?
I have a gt2 classic and it works perfectly. And it still does about 9 days on a single charge. However this is very tempting.
Yes the Classic is still a beauty.
As a Smarwatch it's a killer, but as a fitness watch, it's still doesn't beat Garmin.

Hi Chigz, try to put pro3's stainless bracelet on Gt 2 pro. And you will know how perfect it fits gt2 pro. No gap.. I prefer previous one.. :)
HI, I was told that there had been a recent firmware update to this that now allows you to respond to notifications... but I think (might be wrong ) only on the pro version... and not sure if this is available in the UK.

Nice Review ! Can you do a quick review on Celia Voice assistance and how its integrated to the voice note app and other functions. I suppose this watch also comes with ECG, which should be available with a later region specific firmware update , same could be with the blood glucose monitor feature. Do you have any update on same?
Yes will test Celia soon. No there is no ECG or Blood Glucose.
But you do get Blood Oxygen monitoring.

Still rocking my HW1. It's too beautiful to upgrade to an inferior device with huge bezels, no sapphire glass and no android wear. In fact I recently replaced the battery and get 2-3 days from a single charge with it's AOD active. I tried the tickwatch pro 3 for a few months but got rid of it. Felt like a kid's toy rather than a timepiece.
What do you mean? HW3 Pro uses sapphire glass.

Considering the current RRP it'd say that the Huawei 3 Pro should be below the gt2 pro until they've got something resembling a functioning app store.

I was considering buying the Watch 3 Pro on offer from Huawei (with free scale too), so I was very interested to hear about it. I was dismayed when I saw how big and heavy it is, and that has completely put me off. Also you only checked heart rate before declaring it accurate, I've heard elsewhere that SP02 may not be accurate.

Another great review Chigz as always. A beautiful watch however I think it's potential is very limited due to limited app store and support that you would find from Google Wear OS or Samsung. No Google search, Google maps, NFC pay or major app support. You cannot reply to messages etc. Will await new Samsung and Google watch later this year.
Yes your absolutely right. Huawei should not have released this watch without some major app support. Pay the major developers like Strava and Spotify and get some big names in. Without that they are not challenging the competition. I really do like the watch and HarmonyOS but they need to work on that App store fast.

it is actually very easy to sort on the free watchface available. just look at the category.. and there is a category for free watchface available.. hundreds of options available.
if u type "free" at the search option, that the app actually sorting the available watchface that got 'free' on the watchface name, not the price tag.

There is a problem with alarm sounds. Countdown functionality hasa the same problem. Only vibration works.
How about esim and voice assistance? Does it supports?
Voice assistant yes, esim only Vodafone in the UK.

NFC payment not currently supported due to lack of app. Also, No you cannot control your music.
