this song NEEDS the FULL Orchestra and Choir to get the full effect. I hope the Live Blu Ray filming for one of these shows will have just that. I imagine the Radio City Music Hall date will probably have the full accompaniment.
Labrie did a Really fucking good job in this song consdering earlier in the concert he was kind fucking up! I love James, even if his voice is not what it once was, He's still one of my favorites.
+jikarpert I like Dream Theater, but I don't have to like every single thing they do. Mangini playing a whole show to click track robs the show of any kind of spontaneity. Remember when DT played Pull Me Under in double speed to make the curfew. That stuff won't happen anymore, you can schedule the end of the concert to the second now.
+rumborak Sorry rum but I was there and Mangini was exactly doing reverse. He was probably the more spontaneous of all the band and the one looking like having the more fun. And this is not a fair comment here since it's a space opera with a film running behind which, by nature, leaves little improvisation.

Lol @ The "last clap" battle at the beginning.
Haha, laughed out loud after I read your comment and watched it again.
Wonderful song! Thx for sharing!
Love this song!
What camera have you used in this concert? It is damn good!
Thanks mate! Its just an old Panasonic Lumix TZ-10
No one looks like they are having any fun up there at all! James especially :(
+LiveMusicVids Vids he was prolly nervous, who knows? I personally can't wait to see this filmed with a proper orchestra and a choir
+LiveMusicVids Vids Its called 'concentrating'
After seeing them over 35+ i know what fun and "concentrating" looks like. James looks bored to death.
Wait till the Chicago show this April, we gonna kick some A$$ and have a blast! RAWWWWK
+drumermp I'll be there as well, bringing 2 friends that have never listened to prog before, they're super excited as well.
how long the concert? In minutes
1000 voices? But, where are the other 999 ? lol
Yes, James looks so bored. Saw them live in Toronto a while back and it was pretty good but the sound was AWFUL... I would assume it was the venue.
Very sad
I guess once a band plays a full concert to a click track, you can plan the piss break and the Uber ride back down to the millisecond...
+rumborak They have a schedule to play in, and they want to make it dynamic.. If you dont like it the piss off :)
