Here after the Wimbledon 2019 Final. It's inhuman how this guy consistently clutches out tight matches.

@Sarim Ahmad It was more even here in this Australian Open in my opinion. But the one yesterday was incredible. 90% of the crowd was for Roger. It truly sucks but those are the matches Djokovic excels at the most.

and the reason he clutches those matches when the crowd is against him the most is because he has the serbian mentality and the serbian inat (its a word you cannot translate but that means a lot to us). the hate makes him stronger but in many different ways. thats why his mental game is as great as it is.

Might be mentally tough i cant denie that. But jesus he plays boring tennis. didnt do anything else than playing from the baseline againt federer. Federer made the game look good with his aggresive plays. you cannot denie that. Too sad he couldnt close it in the end when he had the chances.

@@cbp117 It could have happened that Rafa won, but honestly Novak was better player. Rafa was slightly better in the first set, and Novak in the second. But then in the third set Novak was by far better, and also he dominated most of the fourth by far. Rafa won the fourth set by pure luck, and, sorry but I have to say this, by practically cheating! That challenge at 2:19:50 is credit to Rafa's quick wit and intelligence, but is ultimately dishonest. Novak undeservedly lost the amazing point and Rafa somehow won that set.

One becomes a tennis player to begin with due to his love for the game of playing tennis, the enjoyment that comes with hitting a shot, getting innovative with the game, and so on. To organize the game across all players of the world, there exists tournaments, and is true for any sport. Still, the foundational love is about playing the game but not about winning a tournament. Seeing this way, it doesn't make sense to celebrate heavily upon winning. One must cherish the time spent in playing, feel happy that millions have enjoyed watching his game, analyze how well he played and areas of improvement, etc. Winning the trophy should be seen as just a consequence of playing and enjoying the game.

Djokovic, unlike Roger, was quite comfortable with Rafa's game primarily because of his two-handed backhand. Djokovic could lean securely against those high-bouncing top-spin balls, while Roger's single-handed backhand typically would be worn away by them. Djokovic's elasticity, his long reach, was a great asset as well.
