My man kept the sound alive when Scott couldn't! He wasn't trying to 1 up. He just stepped up to the plate.. I was very very fortunate to seen both preformers. . Stp was more than a 1 man show!! With all due respect to my most favorite singer Scott Weiland without the brilliance of both Rob and Dean the band never would have had a sound like they did. Rip. To the fallen ones.

Chester truly ROCKED! STP will always be one of the bands and sounds of my generation. As a teen in the 90's in Los Angeles and this music being the very part of my soul and who I am. It's an honor to be part of that.

I seriously can't believe some people think otherwise. What's so hard about believing that a guy who suffered from severe depression, was a recovering drug addict who suffered from frequent relapses (including the night he died), had trauma from years of abuse, had multiple past suicide attempts, expressed suicide ideation on multiple occasions shortly before his death and just lost one of his closest friends to suicide- took his own life? It's as clear as day.

I did my research. This is a nice story, but has nothing to it. And Chester didn't grow up anywhere near Alberta, nor did he have any experiments done on him.
