It's crazy... While he definitely doesn't sound exactly like Scott, he sounds very similar and did the music justice... man... Great stuff, these are some big shoes to fill and I think he nailed it.

Scott is one of his kind and irrreplaceable, so is Chester. I respect the bands' right to try to move on with the new vocalists but I understand if they decide not to.
Let's face it, "Sex Type Thing" is one of the rapiest songs ever recorded. Chester Bennington could absolutely wail, I'm not going to take that away from him, but for the most part his rendition of this is like listening to a barely pubescent boy. I say "for the most part" because towards the end he did take it down an octave and sounded like Scott Weiland did on this--menacing.

Chester can be an aggressive singer, but I guess with his music in Linkin park, it wore out his voice since 2001. and the non stop touring causes his voice to go weaker as well, but Chester can seriously be an aggressive singer. just watch him playing live in 2001 or listen to some of his old grunge stuff in his old band 'grey daze.'
