"Heart in Motion" was my soundtrack during my stay in Israel. It remains my favorite Amy Grant album.. right up there with Ofra Haza's "Shaday"
I like her final comment. Our life has many chapters, and at the end, it all tells a wonderful story.
60's baby here, who grew up on harder edge classic rock/metal, but always had an affection for Top 40 pop songs. The songs on Heart In Motion are some of the best pop music ever created. The songwriting & production on the record are absolutely amazing. The songs still sound fresh to me 30 years later.
And to those people who condemned Amy's move from Christian music to main stream pop... I probably would have never found her had she stayed with straight up Christian music. So I welcomed the move!
What a blessing to have Amy Grant continue to use her gifts. Beautiful as always.

I grew up with Amy and have and always will love her! She's genuine and authentic. Reading the comments on here, people are so harsh and judgemental. Treat people how you want to be treated, Jesus' golden rule! Thank you Amy for sharing your gift of song and music with us!! I wrote down the same quote about Unity - the freedom to share differences in a setting of compassion!! Amen
The way I want people to treat me is to tell me the truth and The Bible is the truth not Amy's feelings and compromises. Amy is going to answer to God for the people that she leads astray.
I want someone to help me out of my sin...not someone that believes whatever feels good is ok with God. U either believe the whole bible as truth or none of it...dont be cherry picking. People that distort the word of God will be held accountable

By the way the interviewer was gushing all over her, it is apparent that while CBN might do some good things, they are compromised doctrinely and ethically. I am not sure CBN cares about this issue as much as they should!
The biblical bar in Christian media has never been that high, but things seem to have hit an all time low, as far as standing against the culture, and for biblical truths.

What a great interview, worth the watch! Amy granting this interview at her home with ample time to discuss the album and her career and life is amazing. Heart in Motion was the soundtrack of my college days at Texas in the early 90s. Such an iconic pop album and just happy beyond my wildest dreams that the 30th anniversary edition was just released summer 2021. The record remastered sounds so good and just brings back so many good memories from the early 90s. Thank you both CBN and Amy Grant for doing this interview! ❤️

Amy finds the fans of "Faith based music" when she needs to self promote. That my dear, is using the body of Christ to self -promote. That my dear is not the love of Christ!

"Heart in Motion" is an album that I still listen to the whole way through and love every single song on it. I think Amy Grant is truly a gift from God. Her Pop music led me to her Christian Contemporary music and I love that, too!

I’ve loved her music, still do. Her music has reaffirmed and brought so many people to Christ. Yet you all seem to only see the bad, unable to see or understand how God can use her for good. Very heartbreaking
As Christians should we not be spending our time praying for gods hand over our country, calming the frightened, outdroning the fear mongers, restoring love of our neighbors, feeding the hungry, and judging not, lest we be judged.
The United States has always been one nation under god- are we seeing the nation fall away from god for love of $, for selfish reasons, for praying less often, for not looking at our own lives and what they reflect?
Christians come together, pray to God the King of the Universe, He ho gave us life and be grateful, humble and useful tools in His hands.
We,who belong to him, are ignoring the call to care for each other and love our brothers and sisters with all thanks to God.
Our time on earth is not to be a lamp hidden under a bushel basket.
Shine the light of Christ from our hearts in what we say, do and demonstrate in thought and prayer and actions.

The modern term for the Church of Laodicea in Revelations is "the progressive church". It is a church that proclaims Christ but conforms to the world. When you see Christians mingling with anything having to do with pride and affirming sin, you see Laodicea. Pride goes before destruction (Pro. 16:18).
Ephesus - The apostolic church
Smyrna - The persecuted church
Pergamos - The married church
Thyatira - The medieval church
Sardis - The Denominational church
Philadelphia - The Missionary church
Laodecia - The Apostate church (end time present day church)
Chapters 1-3 = Present church age
Chapters 4&5 = raptured saints throne of God
Chapters 6-19 = The antichrist/day of the lord/tribulation saints
Chapter 20 = Messianic age (1,000 year reign)
Chapters 21-22 = The new heavens and earth.

Although I am NOT a xian, growing up, my church grandmother used to say, "you should never have to announce you're a xian.. people should automatically know.. by your actions, by your love and by your convictions.".
