Nice! My favorite recipe for the Mugen is 16.5g to 225g water. Medium grind. 93c water. Try and finish the pour around 40 seconds. Let drain. Yummy! Enjoy your new dripper! 👍

Im very interested in your approach to combine the switch with the mugen. Havent seen many recipes online or in general reviews how this combo peforms. Keep it up!

Yes right now Im still playing with it, familiarizing myself with it. In the future videos ill be making side by side comparisons with a normal v60 and with the Suiren

How is it cheaper when bought from japan? LOL. I can see myself buying a mugen, since the design seems to have a significant effect on the brew. Some of the unique Hario designs feels a little gimicky to me. I wonder though, would you have a similar brew using an embudo? Cause the the idea seems similar.

It depends on the angle of the embudo hahaha, kung 60 degrees din yung embudo mo, probably will get the same result hahahah! On a more serious note, knowing Hario as a company and them being japanese, im sure all of their products went through rigorous research, even the Suiren which looks very gimicky is not gomicky at all. It makes significantly better coffee than a normal V60. BTW i got the mugen for only 500++

@@darylbuenocoffeeOh I am aware that there is a lot of r&d that goes through every Hario brewer design. I just love the Mugen since you can immedieately take a guess to what the design will do to the brew. It is the same with the Suiren but I am looking forward to your findings regarding its bypass.

A cool video idea would be to put side to side:
    Mugen (no bypass)
    V60 (little bypass)
    Suiren/Origami (high bypass)

@@pedrocunial actually i have a theory that mitigates this. I think that the suiren is the one with zero bypass. But im still thinking of ways to prove it. But watch out for that.
