Seeing DMC impact and influence makes me very happy.
Finally we are getting more DMC like games , more combo based etc . I was getting tired of only SoulsBorn ones .
A bit bummed that is RPG , would like to see more pure DMC like character action adventure but it's cool .
@@Kobalt_Rax_the_one Likewise, man. We need more high octane action games like DMC.
China has some good things coming out for the AAA gaming industry. Black Myth Wukong, Where Winds Meet and this game. Their market is known for mobile games and mmos so it's nice seeing a change from China game devs. Im a big fan of Chinese martial arts films so im very excited for this.
Project perceiver, Lost soul aside
@@Raiden-TR yeah Lost Soul Aside has been in development for awhile now. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.
You can add Wuchang: Fallen Feathers to that list
Yes indeed , then just seeing mobile stuff .
Would love too see Korea stuff too , more studios from there, i think Steller Blade is from an South Korean studio .
@@Kobalt_Rax_the_one Yeah the Stellar Blade devs are known for making Korean gachas such as Nikke. Stellar Blade is their first Triple A title.
Next big combat game after Stellar Blade, The Sekiro & DMC combination is starting to run wild and I love it
Even the protagonist looks like dante
So this and lost souls aside have my attention as student of Ninaj Gaiden and DMC games that look cool. Nice video devil.
With all of those DMC inspired games now with i am happy to finally see then just DS ones , we need DMC like games more , we need more combo based character action adventure games . With that being said where is Platinum Games ? I personally didn't see anything for a wile now .
Gameplay-wise it reminds me pretty strongly of Team Ninja's later entries, particularly Stranger of Paradise and Rise of the Ronin. Love both of those, so I'm gonna be looking forward to this one.
Really can’t wait for this one , lost soul aside will also appear on July with a release date , can’t wait for you to cover this one too !!
I wonder if this is in the same series as Phantom Blade Executioners. The artstyle is very Dark Souls. Which would make sense because one of Executioners' big selling points was having one of the main concept artists of Demons Souls, Dark Souls 1 & 2: Michael CTY, as the art director.
It is the same series, I think this game is after executioners so expect a lot of story from this
Damn I loved stellar blade so much but this game looks like it's gonna blow it out of the water
The sha-chi bar looks to be inspired from the nioh games (wolong and ronin too) also is the game loot based?
Thoughts on Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
finally a game that it not generic with flashy animations without deepth. Day one for me
I wish someone did a 1:1 DMC rip off competently or tried to advance the formula, it already set the gold standard almost 20 years ago with DMC 3 and we haven't moved beyond that as far as mechanics and combat in 3rd person action games go.
Bayonetta , sadly nin exclusive
*If* you're on PC, I recommend trying out Heartless & Dreadful.
It's a single dev game, so there are a couple simplicities, but game's followed *all* of CAG principles. Plus, it recently got an update with a new unlockable character.
Soulstice is one of the closest games I've played to DMC when it comes to game feel that came out somewhat recently, with its aura gimmick seeming to me like it was inspired loosely by DmC's color-coding enemies, just that the auras are used for some more interesting mechanics and you aren't limited in using specific weapons.
phantom blade has always been inspired by DMC starting with rainblood chronicles mirage which is a phantom blade prequel came out along time ago 2D beat em up stylish action its super cheap on steam I can recommend it combat is a little clunky sometimes then you have phantom blade excutioners ik its a gacha but it improves from rainblood chronicles combat system.
I straight up thought this was just another souls clone and thus paid no attention to it(i think there's waaay too many souls like games out there tbh) but hearing this information now and actually looking at the combat... yea it's DMC for sure and I'm all the way hype for that
They said 40 weapons for now
Oh shit, sounds like the combat system of nioh!
Not really
Any thoughts on Expedition 33?
Turn based combat is dope and unexpected. Definitely has me wanting to know more
This game is soul-like ?
looking at the gameplay footage, the first thing that comes to mind is how hard it is to read both the player and enemies. All the characters and stage have the same colors and its all blending together. There's a reason why Dante wears a red coat and has flashy effects on all his animations, its so you can read the action and keep on top of what's happening.
quick time events are such a no for me in these kind of games
It's way more ninja gaiden than any dmc game.
Honestly hope it releases in 2025 or 26 it doesnt seem to be releasing this year
They did say sometime in 2024 but who knows they would possibly move it to 2025.
Looks more like a middle ground between souls combat and character action game combat then dmc
3RD DA OTHER 2 ARE AI 😁
I dunno... Game looks fun as fuck and I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it at some point if it gets on PC, but something's really off to me with that gameplay.
I cant see the DMC influence what I see is stamina soul game, sekiro and nioh influence
there is no stamina
normalize showing animation cancelling in game demos
Reminds me more of Sekiro/Nioh.
I really don't see any DMC influence in the game. If it actually was meant to be more like DMC than a standard Soulslike it would be apparent from the actual gameplay, not something that the devs need to say in an interview.
First
Second 😅
Then why is it so obviously a souls clone then?
Ridiculous. The reality is souls combat suck but devs are all copying it for the money because real actual actions games don't sell, most gamers are stupid brainlets and can't accept playing any games that doesn't play like the last one.
Honestly people who are saying this and Stellar Blade look like Devil May Cry combat seems to only indicate that the general audience has forgotten what Devil May Cry plays like because actual stylish action is SO rare nowadays.
It seems like a lot of people have this sort of attitude that the player character not moving like a drunk guy who only got 3 hours of sleep last night automatically makes it "not a Soulslike, more Devil May Cry." In this game's case this marketing is the devs saying, "Okay so ignore everything that is on-screen, it has animation cancels and wall running so it's more like DMC than a Souls game!"
The setting and art style looks boring to me it looks just like ghost of tsushima Nioh and all the other ancient japan games.
But instead this is Ancient China.
I am very excited for this game because i love devil may cry from my heart,i just hope my pc support it 🥲
hearing the devs openly state that they were inspired by DMC and ninja gaiden has gotten me excited. now if only i had a ps5 🥲
