Just done my first wild camp on top of Fleetwith Pike summit in the Lake District on Saturday with my best mate & cousin because of you and this channel. The sunset was worth me getting no sleep and the wind nearly blowing me off the top. Keep it up mate, always brightens up my day.

Wow, that was a really wild camp mandingo 😦⛺️. Thank goodness for the strong Peggy Mitchells 😊. Can’t begin to imagine what Red Screes would have been like if you’d gone for Plan B. We went up there in the rain a good few years ago and I ended up slipping and getting blathered in mud on the way down 😖
As a carp angler for 40 years, my old Aqua bivvy from 1999 is still waterproof and 10 x stronger than the tent. However, yes it does weigh a bit more, but is erected as quick as a teenage lad in a topless bar - Old Skool.
