- In this video, you will see my wins and my fails as I practice and experiment with making Drop Flowers using royal icing and a variety of piping tips. I will take you through my process step by step, showing you how I use each tip in different ways to create a variety of flowers that can be stored away and used for Sugar Cookie Decorating!
As I work through this series, I will share my tips and tricks for achieving perfect consistency and pressure when piping, and how to create different textures and shapes with your piping tip. You will see me make mistakes and learn how to troubleshoot and correct them, so you can avoid them in your own practice.
By the end of the series, you will feel more confident in your piping skills and have a better understanding of how to use different piping tips to create stunning flower designs with royal icing.

Beautiful flowers. I love watching you work. I make mine ahead but now my grandchildren have figured that out and want to eat “Gramsy’s” flowers. 😂. I will have to do this and play with the tips. And make a practice container of flowers for them to eat.
