    -7 here in Wisconsin. Nothing but hard water right now... tying up some custom finesse jigs, soaking up knowledge from a true pro, and day dreaming of ice out. Good luck at the tourney!!

    Loving the amount of videos you guys are pushing out! I think a lot of your supporters would like a rod and reel break down video. Perhaps you breaking down which 13 rod and reels you use for specific lures and techniques!

    Great video Chris! You keep teasing the new bladed jig and I can’t wait to see more about it. I have tons of darts that I usually just rig weightless that I am going to try on a bladed jog now. The blazin worm is the goat. It has become my go to soft plastic for new bodies of water. Thanks for the tips!

      I’ve seen Scott make bank fishing fluke style plastics on beds, as well. A fluke style bait is so versatile

    The lakes where I live never use to have grass. But now has a lot of grass in the last few years.

    Awesome quick tip video Chris! Definitely going to try the chatterbait and stick bait tricks this weekend. Both slightly different variations than I use now. Appreciate it! More videos like this would be cool. Kept me in tune more so than traditional "whats hot this month" style video. Maybe something like this before every tournament or region you're going to next. 🔥

    Awesome video.!! One of my favorite lakes is full of extremely thick grass and a jackhammer and swim jig are my go to. Keitech fat 4.8 is another one I use. I’m so excited to start fishing unfortunately it’s 28 and snowing here in WV. Good luck fishing and can’t wait to see your next video. 👍🏻🫡

    Absolute go to baits. Depending of course on types of grass a zoom superfluke does well in hydrilla partially because you can use it so many diff ways. See you in Okeechobee brother good luck this year. Great video brother

    Great stuff brother as always man that bandito is my go to creature I have recently became a nuke punch fan in that thick grass seems to hold up better when ripping through the thick stuff. Stay motivated brother and keep dropping these bangers hell with the haters they will never go away no matter who is paying the bills lol 💯 👌🏻 👊🏻🎣🇺🇸🔥👍🏻

    Ya if n i member correct big daddy Todd Woods 2019 Havasu open, one of the coldest ever, was had in the marina with a white vib jig white swim ee combo, for the take home!!! Weighted hook for the wiggle is a great one!

    Any hints on if Googan/BassMafia/CatchCo are gonna be bringing a vibrating jig anytime soon?

      We are working on one at Bass Mafia 😁 and there is one Catch Co built for Googan called the Clickbait - I don’t have a ton of time with that one though

    That's my local store and I met you at the boat ramp. I love fishing that lake. I punch a lot but I burn a lot of creature baits. Any tips on making them last longer

      That Nuke Punch bait by Googan is a little heftier plastic so that you don’t burn through a bunch of baits. Just make sure you’ve got the right rod and hook when using it

      If I could only throw one lure it would be a 5” lunker log; it’s very versatile - you can wacky rig it, weightless tx rig, or my favorite on a belly weighted hook like I explain in this video

    When would you throw the Nuke Punch over a Bandito Bug?

      Honestly, I prefer punching with the Bandito over the Nuke, but the Nuke is built to withstand the in and out of hyacinth better than the Bandito, it’s thicker and stiffer, but I feel like presentation wise and even hookup wise I like the Bandito more. Once it gets through the matted vegetation, it has a more natural presentation and better movement to attract the bite. It’s really a personal preference.

      Jesse - he poached me. I caught my fish there prior which is why I was so aggressive. It’s something he has a history of and moreover, he camped out on the spot all day going forward trying to keep me and others from fishing it.

      I'm no kid, 40 yo, and have tried most of the googan stuff. Their hard baits are meh, but their soft plastics are actually quite good. Meanwhile there are now 5 other companies making hard baits as good or better than MB in a similar price range. Also DC is low-key the best fisherman alive right now who's not JW or BP

      @@Zaldaingerous Googan baits = low rent entry level stuff. Megabass, Duo, Jackall and OSP are better than anything Googan cranks out.
