I am enjoying virtual vacations through you guys. 2022 is my vacation year for sure so I can barely wait. I am literally counting down. Wishing you guys a beautifully blessed evening and weekend.
Great presentation ! Really enjoyed it . Fortunately, you had a much better visit than we did . Spent a week there in July , 1975 . It was unseasonably cold and it rained the entire time . We had the problem of wet red sand clinging to our footwear . We even endured a hit and run . Consequently, we have not returned there since . Keep up the excellent work .
Oh wow, and in July!? That's strange. I guess odd weather can happen in Canada, but if you get a chance again, usually June to September is quite nice.
FYI for anyone inspired to visit PEI after watching this video, Confederation Bridge is a toll bridge. The toll is only collected in one direction, and it's not expensive, but just so you're aware.
I live on PEI, I’m not a fan of raw oysters, but they’re good when they’re cooked. My late grandmother used to make bannock all the time, she would serve it with homemade baked beans.
totally! Our next video, we eat them cooked in PEI haha. It's interesting how bannock is so known as an Indigenous cuisine but actually came from Scotland
So cool! I would love to stay in that lighthouse. 👍 Not fond of raw oysters...I have tried it. Don't enjoy any raw seafood. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Have been there many times, visiting family. 👍😊👏
I know you've likely been asked this before but does Matt have any known relation to basketball great Steve Nash? There's more than a passing resemblance there. Otherwise, great content as usual, guys, and such a cool travel niche, too. Outside of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver it's rare to see much tourist attention given to Canada, which is curious for such an enormous country.
hahaha this is Matt. It's funny as I don't see it but many people have commented. I thought it would be funny to do a video with him but he's likely way too famous for that. Wish I had a relation lol. But yes, thanks man! Lots of things to see here. I thought we'd run out of content but I think that will take a long long time
@@MustDoCanada Thanks for answering, Matt! That's very gracious of you. :) I think the resemblance is just in the face. I actually briefly met Steve Nash many years ago after a Suns game when he was signing autographs for fans. Seemed about as nice as you'd hope for him to be, very patient and nice with everyone. Taller than you might think, too, based on how small he often looked on the court next to other NBA players. Probably not quite the 6'3" he was listed at but definitely pretty close. I'm just under 6'3" myself and we were pretty much eye to eye. Anyway, great channel and best to you and Karla!
@@MustDoCanada The Mill River chowder is the best! 😋 When Covid hit, they started offering take out and well it's 5 minutes away! How could we not? 😁 So glad you were able to share in some of our secrets 🙂
We visited P.E.I for two weeks back in 1986. We drove from Ontario. We had to take the ferry across from New Brunswick. I loved P.E.I. ❤ 🇨🇦
Oh wow, before the bridge!
We did a week-long vacation to PEI a few years ago. It was one of the best trips we've ever taken. Thank you for your video.
It's pretty unique. Gotta love those red beaches :)
Love your videos! Went to Nova Scotia last summer and didn't have time for PEI, definitely going to make time next time.
Thanks so much! Beautiful place eh?

yeah, we kept that in the article. $50 to leave.
The bridge is so easy and convenient, but I kind of liked taking the ferry too. Was part of the adventure of getting to an island destination.

Love the maritimes and PEI. Have been many times but have never stayed here as we've usually been in a tent. One day!
Great video! Living in PEI, the ocean draws me there often, winter and summer 🥰
You live a little more in-land?
@@MustDoCanada 20 minutes 😅
@@momsilk6072 Pretty good. We live about 12 hours from the nearest one haha
@@MustDoCanada We often take it for granted I think. I have not done any travelling but what a wonderful way to experience life! 🤗🙂
Loved your episode on PEI.
.
Thanks!
we want you in more countries like "must do canada"
Yes, I think we may have to venture out :)
Glad you enjoyed your stay here. Might want to change your title with that photo - the lighthouse is in western PEI, not eastern PEI.
Omg! Yes! Thanks for letting us know
Hello people, the video is very interesting and what magnificent views, the potato is the main food of the Americas, greetings
Thanks, Hugo!
Love this video!

That lobster roll and chowder looked delish !!!
It was good, but surprisingly, our best chowder was at Mill River Resort. More creamy
