Sometimes a home doesn’t need a specific theme to look and feel good. We really liked that the home is filled with design ideas and artefacts that were collected over the years of their travel. The use of false walls to create the curved design also brings a lot of warmth to the space! What’s your favourite part of the home? Let us know in the comments below! I love this episode! Really liked the way homeowners were interviewed; they gave great tips and explained why things were done a certain way in their home. This episode really showed how the house worked for them. 😍
I like the space. I love the music I would love to be a homemaker, especiallly as I have to wake up for work in 4 hours. Congrats Stacked Homes once again
If this is not to make the first bucket of gold thru BtO but for long stay and bigger unit then is a wise choice to get a old resales flat .. but confirm no profit return from this era buying an old resales flat . Always rem the golden rule , first move advantage
Hey Shawn! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes getting an old resale flat is affordable and spacious. Sometimes that's just more important, as you can move on with your life. Making money is always great, but sometimes this can't be prioritised over other things which are important 👀
It is during Covid period that makes me truly understand the importance of space. Having everyone at home whether it is WFH or online schooling, the current BTO home sizes are seriously inefficient & gives suffocating feeling.
@@gaillee2190 terrible yes. My home is a tiny rental apartment but blessed with a huge balcony. It works because it’s just me and my hubby. Can’t image how suffocating it would be in BTO. HDB made a huge mistake removing the balconies from BTO.
Guess im damn lucky to complete my 5 rm bto renovation just before circuit breaker, thank the goverment for giving my estate a balcony with greenery view, last but not least waterway is just downstairs.....having lived in old 5 rm hdb with my parents and my new 5 rm bto, old flat can be depressing even with the renovation. 5 rm bto is not small by the way....but 4 room bto is equivalent to old 3 rm hdb. Those who dont have the means to live in both of course will give sour grape comments abt the bto.
Hey! I think it does only if you intend to stay in it for quite a few years. A couple may also value a great renovation differently. The thinking is that, well, you only live once. And if your matrimonial home, where you'll spend the early parts of your marriage in is a beautiful home that both of you really cherish, it does add value beyond the monetary sense 😀

Every Singapore house featured on RUclips uses Aesop hand wash. Lol.
That's true 🤣
Is that brand good??
@@annieteo7169 It’s actually not too bad. The mandarin rind is probably their signature scent. Just that it’s very expensive for me.
Plus Taobao stuffs plus dome design 😂
So unique, love it.

Fat soldier tip *thumbs up*
Amazing design however most HDB flats are 99 years, I wonder if it makes money sense to renovate so much🤷🏻♀️
