This man is a supreme martial artist and WOW -my era, and inspiration, is that of Sensei Hirokazu Kanazawa. All the same. Compare kumite with the kata enactment of 'staged' fights. Never as 'clean'. How would a man, such as this, fare in Cage Fighting rules? You decide. I know the answer but I could care less, will take Karate over MMA ANYDAY. Cage fights is still not a 'no rules' fight.Experts, such as this, are on another level.

But you can use karate in mma. So you don't have to choose :D

@@StarKnightZ well, not really; but I'm sure you know that ;-) Many formalized martial arts techniques don't work too well in the ring. MMA is a whole different ball game. And also traditional martial art is not designed for competitive sports but as a means to provide tools for self defense, in the street.
