A lot of people don’t like the 403 Olds engine, on the street, they have potential, a simple head swap makes them come alive, very easy and cheap to do.
@@louislepage5111 They do, the only issue is the 403 has larger diameter head bolts, you just use a drill and open up the existing holes, I’ve done it twice, I used #5 heads, with the W-30 2.07 intake valves put in with hardened seats, brings the compression up to close to 10:1, makes a huge difference, if you jet the carb, and add a better camshaft, the difference is amazing.
@@highrzr I have built a few of them the head swap is the biggest thing, a little drill work on the head bolt holes and a set of # 5 heads with the 2.07 intake valves installed, with some hardened seats and they really come to life. They do need a camshaft, adjustable valve trane helps too, carb tuning, and distributer curving. If you wanna really make them run, a set of gears, a higher stall converter, and some valve work on the transmission, then it’s really amazing. Forgot the headers, with everything else, if you do it they’re a must, along with better flowing mufflers. As for the webbed mains, they have girdles that take care of that, all it takes is money. I have built many Oldsmobiles, I have a 1972 W-30 in my shop that I ordered brand new, just finished a complete frame off restoration on it, including full mechanical. Completely number matching, but not stock internally anymore. It runs extremely strong.
This is a beautiful Trans Am!! Love the 17" Honeycomb wheels and the aftermarket Houndstooth design interior may not be some peoples cup of tea but it was done properly and it actually goes with the car nicely. It just needs the proper exhaust tips in the rear behind the rear tires.
A Nick, this new format you got with these videos blows. I like the old way you posted the video. We watched it. No premiere, no, nothing go back to the old way.
1st year of Trans Am I was ever in... 👍 Love the blue.... The interior plaid is different.... Kind of reminds me of the 930 Porche's of the period... 🤔 Like the ride, Nick! 😎
Hey brother you do a great job showing all the imperfections on all the vehicles you show don't worry about what somebody else says if they want it that bad they need to come up there and get underneath it themselves before you buy it at least come look at it come on them 400 Pontiacs run best with a 650 Holley
This is just like the 1979 I had color and all except for the seats, it looks like this one is in good shape I sure would like to have it but I am tight on money right now.
Naysayers probably are like me and can't afford this type of car anymore. It's not a good price it will definitely sell just like the man said they don't have to sell these cars the cars sell themselves and it will sell
I would love to own and drive this Trans Am around love the color and the interior great job on video and just one thing you forgot your hat lol God Bless you and your family and friends
Cruise it now and deal with all the small problems as you go was an ac car saw no compressor ac gets expensive gotta have it I have bad allergies like Nick
As a Trans Am fan for over 40 yrs, I just have to say that, plaid does not belong in a Trans Am, this is sacrilegious
plaid ????????????????
Hounds tooth, and at this point it’s become cool and rare. I’ll take it if you don’t like it. 😂
Exactly why I laughed at it when I seen it
You are absolutely correct!
You got that right, I once had a 78 blue never thought I would see plaid in a T/A. 😉

I've read were the Rocket 350 heads wake the 403 right up 😊

The only difference is you can talk to me, then once it is posted its a normal video?
Absolutely love the car. I would love to have that beauty in my driveway. All easy fixes.
Most Exellent looking Trans Am. I like the Blue. Only issue, no T-Tops. Gotta have the T-Tops.

This car is one off my dream cars 😭❤
It's a beautiful car. Unless I somehow missed it. I didn't see any under carriage shots or light checks.
Big heavy gas guzzling dog. I had one and loved it. I would love to restomod one
Engine was rated for 185 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque when it was new.
That is awesome, listen to that engine Pur,and that colour with those wheels ,I've always wanted a firebird

Hey wheres the undercarriage shots lol. Really new format
I’m not sure what happened it was supposed to be in the video. I was building these last week before I left for the mountains
I'm not sure what the owner of this car was thinking; the body has plenty of rust issues, yet they sunk their money into a fancy interior?
Do you ever sell anything that ever thing works for the money you asking for them
We are on the low side of the market , if everything worked we would price it thousands more.
Manual choke? Strange, I would think with the year it would have an automatic choke. (Pump accelerator once before starting)
At least you were thorough pointing out many of the flaws in this turd. Surprising for a flipper.
Man I wish had 24k for this remind me of my dad
I am also that dad.lol
This is just like the 1979 I had color and all except for the seats, it looks like this one is in good shape I sure would like to have it but I am tight on money right now.
Beautiful piece of history

Thanks Man
I ordered a new 78 ta. 4 speed that came with body work. But I kept it anyway.
As someone that has a 21 Challenger around the same price range and wants a firebird, I am a sad sad man.
Add t-tops plus the WS6 and I owned that exact car.
Cool TA
The Plaid is not Bad ! Just different!
Love this color
Naysayers probably are like me and can't afford this type of car anymore. It's not a good price it will definitely sell just like the man said they don't have to sell these cars the cars sell themselves and it will sell
Has this been sold? I don't see it on the website? Thanks!
I would love to own and drive this Trans Am around love the color and the interior great job on video and just one thing you forgot your hat lol God Bless you and your family and friends
plaid ????????????????
I’m east bound and down to get me some Maple Motors 😂
Cruise it now and deal with all the small problems as you go was an ac car saw no compressor ac gets expensive gotta have it I have bad allergies like Nick
the most famous trans am color is probably black
You have the job of my dreams....😍
It was the 70s & interior shows it ! 😂✌
I have subbed for years. Couldn't figure out why I haven't got notice for your videos. Fkn you tube. Re subbed. Nice car
Thanks for the sub!
That's not the standard Olds 403. This one is a little more stout, it sounds.
Nice car 🚗 👌 👍 👏 😎 😀
Wrong decals on the shaker. Nobody does them right.
Front bumper took a hit, Not lining up good. Gaps all around. 400 Pontiac C.U. is what you want , not the little Olds.
Nice…. Just needs some fatter tires
Sweet ride 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thanks ✌
No under carriage ...no good !
Sweet
Ништяк, надо брать 😊
