I’d rather have your Day-Date than anything available from anyone else.
Why? Because this is still a rugged Sport Watch at its core and you can’t wear it in every condition for the rest of your life.
You cannot say that about AP, PP, VC, and many more.

You don’t make money unless you sell it and investment is something different. Rolex watches are currently a kind of an asset but that can change again, nobody knows. The watch is extremely subtile and top notch but the blue roman numerous face fits better to bright metal.

but if I ever had to sell it wouldn’t lose value, hence it’s an investment. though I never sell it, cause I love the watch. I prefer the green, I think it looks more sophisticated. also it not bright metal, it’s full white gold :)

True, lug to lug size on DD40 is slightly to big for your relatively small wrist. DD36 would suit perfectly

The american presidents these days wear datejusts or even something totally different.
The bracelet is nice but you have to like it - some don’t like the design of it.
Also I would say that watch looks slightly too big for your skinny wrist.
