My name is Ike Stephens. I started driving a truck in 2002. I started making trucking videos in 2010. I've done everything from VLOGs to parodies.
Trucker Rag Chew | Trucker Rag Chew is mixture of Vlog, music, and opinion. It is one of the original VLOG style videos series in the RUclips Trucking genre.
Bonehead Truckers® | I am one of only people who will call out the bad things truckers do to ruin this industry. Bonehead Truckers® exposes the bad behavior of truck drivers.
Trucking Advice | Mixed is into the normal videos, I have been known to put out an occasional educational video. Even though I still have a lot to learn myself, the things I do talk about is stuff I've learned the hard way.
RUclips Live | I was one of the original content creators to do live content. I started on Ustream and when RUclips started the live interactive content, I was one of the first to participate.

If I owned a truck stop Id hire security to keep the fuel islands moving because that's the biggest money maker. "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" 😂
I'd be on standby ready to tow every island blocking truck for ya and give you a percentage of the tow!
Fuel is the least profit maker. It's all the soda water, cheeseburgers, and candy bars that the money is made....
It is hard to enforce, there is limited legal authority enforce non-movement violations. Then you are paying $50k-$100k to have a human do that. Then you have to worry about very expensive lawsuits, and court cases are not cheap. Finally, fuel is barely any profit and other amenities are what keeps stops in business. I don't think you thought this plan out very well.
@@russguffee6661 that is 100% correct.
@@kvmairforce Really got to insult them in the end? just can't make the point and leave it at that..
That last guy was the best squeezing in front of that truck blocking the lane. well done that man!!
How do you guys do it in Russia?
Drivers like the ones in this video won't 'get it' until it happens to them. They will be the ones that are honking their horns and raising hell because they are being delayed by someone as inconsiderate as they have been. They should all have to wear 'sandals' of shame.
They won't connect the dots.
@@randgrithr7387 that’s because they have a limited supply of self awareness and basic intellect.
Of course!!
Sitting with their thumbs up their ass!
No you're wrong, they think, oh well this is just how it is. They haven't been taught anything very well, from common sense to manners.
I drove for 42 years, not once did I ever block a fuel island or scale ! I always treated others the way I would want to be treated, even if I was hauling doubles or triples at 2 or 3 in the morning and really needed to use the men’s room and there was no where to park I would pull pass the pump and park where you park after fueling, so to leave the pump open and then be back out before anyone would be fueled ! So many drivers today are just Inconsiderate !
You are absolutely right, not to mention considerate of other people. I wish there were more like you out here, I really do. 👍
Thank you for your many miles of service we appreciate you coming from another trucker to another trucker
Same here.. 32 years and not once have I sat at a fuel island except to fuel quickly then pull up. 90% of truckers today are entitled and don’t care about respect.
It's just common courtesy. Most of these guys don't have any idea they're doing anything wrong, this how they were trained.
I've only been out here for 10 years, but I've never blocked a fuel island or scale either.
It's gotten so bad that I actually dread going in to fuel or try to do it in the wee hours when less morons are out and about.
That's the real deal
Its just as bad at many locations at 1 am How many times Im the only one pulled forward after fueling at that time.
I fuel around 330-4 am just to avoid these BONEHEADS!!
If I know I’m going to go inside after fueling, I’ll creep to the nearest parking spot. It’s common courtesy.
Very Well Thinking Ivory. But Probably MORONS Are Also In Those Hours Accting Like &%$##&%$ MORONS Lol
I'm a new driver, been out here on the road for a little over a month now. Absolutely love it by the way. Your right it's absolutely infuriating, people blocking the fuel islands. There's absolutely no reason for you to go into the store BEFORE you get your fuel. Zero!!! I understand getting your fuel, pulling up to the line & going in to piss & grab something to eat/drink quickly. 15min tops inside. If you have to drop a deuce and/or go in to order some fast food. Go park!! It literally takes 5min to find a spot & park it. N this is coming from a brand new driver
I dislike most new drivers Jimmy, but you I respect for not being like this new generation of drivers...but where you're wrong is, you seem to think it takes 5 minutes to park...for people who knows how to, but the problem is, and I'm sure you are aware of this...these "steering wheel holders" today, it takes 15 minutes minimum to park, that's why they block the fuel line
Good luck on your trucking journey
Absolutely no reason? What about when the card reader doesn't read your fuel card, and you have to go to the fuel desk to give them your information, so they can turn the pump on! And if you have to stand in line at the fuel desk, yeah well! Trucking a little over a mouth now?! Wow!!! Try 40+years and retired! Sometimes things go wrong, and it has nothing to do with a Bonehead Trucker!
@@walterburger5281 that's not getting out of your truck BEFORE getting fuel now is it?
@@walterburger5281 n good for you that you have 40+ yrs what you want a fucking medal!?? N what you getting on me for only having a month out on the road. Grow the fuck up
@@wukilla8ee No Jimmy, thats me sitting in the truck while the pump works it self! Smartass!!!
I have to give truckers credit for not being violent on these videos. Blocking a boat ramp might result in someone being injured.
otoh if ppl need to consider loosing teeth b/c of fuel blocking it might end soon... change my mind
There have to be a non-violent way to stop this!
Best ever, Ike! 24-mins. Perfect. Make them all this long.
So glad I’m a local driver and I never have to go into truckstops
But they're an adventure!
I pop into truck stops in the middle of the night for snacks and Tim Horton's. They make parking where there was no parking.
One if my favorite things, start early and park early and get to watch people do dumb stuff
@@jean-lucpicard3012 Oh yeah. I'm a night owl for driving, just sucks that I work inter-provincial instead of actual long haul.

“Congratulations! You’re gonna be on Bonehead Truckers. You’ll be famous!” Truer words were never spoken! 🤣
I'll put a like on this video right from the start and totally endorse it.
The sign on the pump at the start says pretty much what the deal is.
I'm in New Zealand and only a part time trucker but I wear steel cap boots at all times when working plus all other appropriate work/PPE wear.
We don't have the same scale of fuelling stations as you do in the US but we still get the same type of driver.
Good morning to all the BONEHEADS TRUCKERS OUT THERE....HAPPY BONEHEAD TRUCKERS DAY🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊
It's always amusing to me that the bonehead gets angry and calls out the person who is calling them out for their selfishness and stupidity! LOL
It happened to me today. A Saia driver took his 30 minute break on a fuel island. He went in to a TA to get a take out order. I nicely asked him to please not do that again and he threw his bag of food on the ground and he threatened to put my head through the ground. I told him to head back into the TA with a change of clothes and a ride home if he proceeded. He kept yapping and I laughed and walked away.
I knew the legendary Indian guy was coming up soon. That complete interaction is famous. The way the camera man introduced him was amazing also.
I don’t think he was from India. I will guess someplace like Syria or Lebanon.
I think we all agree that the "derka derka truckers" guy, the foreign guy @5:12, should be the new mascot for BHT. Dude's a legend and doesn't even know it.
Don't you just Love the fact these Folks are driving Class A vehicles weighing over 80,000 pounds and can not speak two words of English!
The Truck Driving Industry will hire just about anyone and expect other folks to respect their employees!
All trucking companies need to teach their drivers about blocking fuel islands and about using the squeeze for cleaning their trucks
Teach their drivers how to use common sense
It’s sad that some ppl have to be TAUGHT something that the rest of us were already born with.
@@SoCal780 It's funny that I call them out and I am told I am the jerk and to mind my own expletive business. All I could ever hope for is someone to say " You know, you are right. I blew it and I'm sorry"
3:30 got sick of waiting on him so he parked in front of him so he couldn’t leave. Makes sense
The sad part about blocking fuel islands is that it isn’t gonna stop anytime soon. In fact, I think it’s gonna get worse. I see fuel island blockers all the time that I’ve given up on telling them anything. Luckily, Ike is bringing some awareness via this RUclips channel, but there are plenty of idiots that don’t even use social media, so they’ll never know they’re in the wrong.
Many probably know and don't care
😢
I had a few instances that there was a truck parked at the yellow line and one on the fuel line for at least 30 minutes.
I had to run in and use the restroom. I came out and the guy on the fuel island was finally fueling. Imagine if he would've been gone when i came back. I probably would've been on bone head truckers.
Years ago when I was a security officer we would attach a 6"×6" decal on the driver's side window that said " Notice of illegal parking ". It was easy to apply but it was difficult to remove . Very quickly nobody was illegally parking anymore. ,,,
Anthony Gonzalez - Maybe someone should come up with a Bonehead Trucker sticker.
You can get those stickers from Amazon and they have a check list on them for what ever they are doing wrong and when you try to remove them they tear into small pieces
seems to me the issue with the supply chain could all come down to bonehead truckers blocking others in lol
I'm glad the company I drive for has their own fuel and def pumps.
It’s shocking to me how a driver can get caught red-handed doing something where they are 100% in the wrong, and instead of just apologizing and saying they’ll do better next time, their reaction is to get angry and belligerent 🤣 and blame everyone but themselves.
This guy made my day!!! "Congratulation you gonna be on bonehead Truckers" Love this youtube channel !!!😂😂😂
Hate when cars block the diesel pumps knowing damn well they aren't getting any fuel, just a sodey water. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Happy to see the most famous man made it in the video he doesnt even understand just like the rest of them
One thing that I have learned in my 28 years in the trucking industry: it is full of inconsiderate assholes that simply do not care about ANYONE but themselves. Many of them are divorced (some many times) and their kids won’t speak to them due to their selfishness and narcissistic behavior. As you can see in these videos, many of them think that they are in no way whatsoever at fault, YOU ARE because you should be okay with the fact that THEY are inconveniencing you. It’s twisted logic for sure, but that’s their line of thinking.
The saddest part is , I see a lot of old timers in cowboy 🥾 blocking the fuel islands. Shouldn’t you guys be a example for newer drivers?
I love each and everyone of you, that exposes the bonehead truckers. I think it's just downright cool amen Brothers.
When I’m about to shit myself I’ll block whatever fuel lane I want to keep my pants clean
I dont think this will ever end.. the disrespect and stupid mentality is running rampant out there its such a me first kinda life for drivers like this and ya just can't fix stupid
It not just in trucking. That me first attitude is everywhere these days. Like that "lady" toward the end - she could easily be found in a regular mcdonalds or a grocery store yelling "get me a manager" for some petty garbage...
Definitely.. when I started driving in 1991 we were all family.. respectful, considerate, we would talk laugh and argue on the cb for hours and that made the hours fly by; the cb was never quiet. We would convoy 10-20-30 rigs across 2-3 states in the middle of the night while cutting up on the cb. Drivers would pass you, u would flash your headlights and they would respond back with flashers to say thank u, we would let each other in at road constructions, parking at fuel islands wasn’t even a thing back then. Like me, most of us “old timer knights of the road” have either retired, are getting ready to retire like myself or have sadly passed away. It’s a different world now in 2022….it’s all about entitlement and the “me first, Generation Z, no respect crowd”, sadly. And it’s going to get much worse…so glad I will be retiring in Dec 2023.
@@usafcombatvet218 - Unfortunately, I think all of your points are correct.
@@usafcombatvet218 Those were the Golden YEARS! That post made me smile and now I'm back to the reality that this industry is junk after reading it.
What's happening to professional drivers? I mean I never had to wait back in the 90's for drivers in the fuel isle. It seems like the profession has gone to liquid feces and respect for others has gone out the window. Shippers must have gone lenient on deliveries because I did not have time to mess around in a truck stop. I mean if I was an hour late on a load it could lead to my load being rejected, and I definitely could not afford that especially driving a reefer.
I’m retired from trucking and spend my time RVing I stay at a lot of truck stops and I’m going to start videoing the boneheads
You’ll have no problems at all finding them.
Don't forget to capture the 4 wheelers for Fridays.
Watched an Escalade pull up and used the squeegee to clean his front end. I'm afraid it starts early in life 😳
The Pennsylvania guy already had a black eye, probably earned it.🤣
They couldn't wait.. they had to go inside and go get themselves a hot dog that's been on that rolly grill for at least several hours if not the whole day and a cheeeeeeeese burger and some po-taaaaaaaaaaaaater chips and a sodie wooder and a cupcake 😂
EDIT: or maybe they had to go doodoo or tinkle 🤣
The steering wheel holders that bugged me the most were those that were parked at the fuel island, went inside to do their shopping, return to the truck, THEN fueled the truck. When they finished fueling, they would pull up and go inside again.
BTW, character cannot be defamed by the truth of how bad it is.
Just T Drivers Lacking a BRAIN AND GOOD MANNERS. LOL
"Bonejegy Trucker". That will never get old. 🤣
The problem with this industry is the type of drivers who are out here now are so inconsiderate that it is disgusting, I so wish we could back to old school trucking when drivers didn't think that the world revolved around them, very sad what this industry has turned into.
It all goes back to training -- lack of it.
Just People With NO MANNERS AND COMMUN SENSE
@@samuellopez1957 It's preferable for parents to teach manners and instill common sense. Sadly, we often have to attempt to do this as trainers, and we often fail.
Well I'll be, such language lol 😂 love this channel
That GSH driver is now a legend and he probably doesn't even know it
Oh joy ,oh cheer, oh tons of fun is here !
Oh yeah! I've squeezed through to get in front of a lane blocker occasionally. That furner with his space ranger headset is a bonehead icon. That one old guy flashed you a couple stubbies 😂
I like they shut the door first before making a insult
What I used to LOVE was waiting for COMCHECK, OR OTHER PAYMENT INSTITUTIONS, to clear PAYMENT for fuel while on the fuel pumps 😢😢😢😢
Yep never seen so many “truck drivers” wash their truck with a window squeegee all these foreigners don’t understand it that’s why 🤣🤣🤣
See I love how people record & don’t think of the consequences of if they walk up to someone’s truck while they’re in it, & think hey don’t have a shotgun or anything, gotta think, some of these truckers are unhinged & exmurders, mafia members, gang bangers & etc don’t come up missing.
So you let anyone walk all over you because they could do this or that or be this or that? If you're scared, stay home.
@@benarthur2273 what the hell you talking about dude, scared has nothing to do with the safety of others, you must have a level of stupidity to just walk up to someone else's truck & not know what they're going to do, granted I have did it a couple of times but that's only to have them move up outta the fuel island, I always carry my peace keeper on me at all times, & I'm very well trained in hand to hand combat, but some of these fools arent & don't understand if you fuck with the bull long enough you get the horns, you must not be a driver if you don't understand this boy I feel for you.
5.29 this man never gets old! lollol
Blocking the fuel island is also my biggest problem. The industry is hiring people from a bus stop it seems. Absolutely no consideration for anyone.

He really is famous and should have his own booth at All the Trucking Conventions
The outfit
The Straw
The Burger King Headset
The Confusion
I luv it!
The guys using the sqegees are auditioning for jobs at Blue Beacon.
You should have another drink if you think I'm going to TRC🙂
I’m on a bonehead binge! 😂😂
I've always wondered something Ike, what Authority does the security have over these guys blocking the fuel Island?( or do they have any Authority at all really) what say you?🤔👋🏻👍
Since they represent the owner of the property they have all the authority they need to make them move or kick them off the property. Unfortunately the dictates of customer service prevents most of them from doing anything more than politely asking if it would be alright for them to move to a better spot.
@@Gothmogdabalrog You are 100% correct. They just won't come back.
@@Coltstoo but 20+ more other truckers would and could even fuel up on time....
Wanna say "what's up" to my fellow Mercer driver for exposing the idiot blocking the fuel isle 💯💪
The clip of the Empire driver struggling too get in his truck makes me wonder how these fellas pass a DOT Physical. I’m a bigger guy and I’m not one too talk trash it honestly make me sad seeing that stuff.
Need to have one of those stickers that's hard to come off the window and it'll say bonehead trucker of the day or the week and give them out to Truckers that sends a message without damaging anything
Put me down for a sleeve of those!
the size of some of these drivers, their weight is probably beyond the safe working weight of the drivers seat!!
That driver looks like 2 holes on the sliding 5th wheel.
I like the last at the end "I got this"..........There goes to show ya.....can't block me in !!!!
This garbage didn't start until the government lowered the standards to get into the job.notice I said job not profession they turned trucking into McDonald's with a steering wheel.since this is what the general public wants this is what we get . Cheap labor equals lazy steering wheel holders. Pretty sad. I guess maybe I needy a different yob! Ike you Gotti one yob for me
I do not remember this happening when we had paper logs...
I asked a driver about his flipflops. He told me that it was the only way he could drive. Go figure. Wait until an emergency arrives and he has to jump out of his truck then wishes that he had on boots or at least some shoes.
He ain't no trucker then
seems insane to drive in flip flops. they'll get all caught up on the pedals.
The clip at the end !!!!! did he make it you left us hanging lol . Fantastic videos .
I swear, when I listen to this clip, my GPS will be active, and @5:43 makes me feel like I missed my turn
Ppl feel the need to explain themselves to complete strangers....lmfao amazes me
This video is entertaining. But watching it made my stress levels rise. As a veteran driver said....in 25 years I've never blocked a fuel island or scale. I also only confronted 1 driver for blocking me for 20 minutes then he came out to his truck and fiddled around for a few minutes then went back inside. That's when I followed him inside and blew a gasket. Steering Wheel Holders are a cancer in this profession.
I love see a tow truck pull up and pickup the Bonehead Trucks and pull them out of the way. Plus change the them & company for the hook up.
"Mind your own business" this is why i love people
I swear, the 4 wheelers have been watching this channel! 'cause at the local Sheetz people run in and get there snax, and there sodee water and cheeseburger, and after they fill up they be chillin and hangin out at the pumps!
I see this all the time. A couple days ago at the TA they only had 3 islands open and 2 of them were blocked by guys just sitting there. The one guy was eating lunch. Space in front to pull up too.
I also saw the other day at the Flying J, some guy who pulled his tractor off the scale but left the trailer on it and went in the back and started watching the football game right on the scale smh
Holding Hands 🧑🤝🧑At The Urinal , That's Funny 🤣🤣🤣
“You do not need a cheeseburger.” “You have had enough sir.” 😄 I damn near soiled myself!
Explaining to some of these drivers is like beating a dead horse to wake up..
Real truck drivers are more focused on doing there job than blocking drivers in the fuel island, driving all away around to block a driver just because he block you is stupid,,grow up and concentrate on your job, not only you are blocking him in,you blocking other drivers trying to get fuel, 40 plus years in trucking, this is the worse I ever seen it
The lack of professionalism and trucking is a direct result of over regulation and compliance cost our companies cannot pay a decent wage to quality drivers we have these I can spell my name and I have a heartbeat drivers
When people get upset with me blocking the fuel isle- I make it a point to drive off with the nozzle still in the tank...
They ALL blocked fuel Islands... But no more than 30 minutes, lol !
Just take that opportunity to take your mandatory break time BEHIND THEM ?
By far best mix of old clips
Thank God I found a Driving job that fuels my truck for me!
It used to everyone had their cb on. When you screwed up you had 20 guys telling you that you screwed up, and you learned. Not that way anymore.
7:11 that fuel price 😢
Ok je comprends.. c’est ça le rêve américain pour un chauffeur poids lourd 😢
Il n'y a pas de rêve ici
I just saw this today in western NY at a TA. Unbelievable the selfishness never ends
14:37 That ain't no squeegee as it looks like an actual scrub brush to me.
Agreed but he still using the windshield cleaning bucket tho...
@@stonefox9124 Possibly yes but keep in mind the guy did also use the short hose to spray the back with so it is also possible he just used the hose to spray the back first.
Don'tcha love how these NEW flatbed drivers DON'T bellystrap anything anymore 😮
Just the other day, i fueled my truck. I needed the reciept for my company. Of course, the machine said see cashier for reciept. So i couldn't leave the pump cause once it resets for the next peeson using that pump, i would not be able to get a reciept. Put paper in the machine so we dont need to go inside and wait in line just to get a reciept
Great videos!! Great music.
I will be the first person to tell you that I never was a very good truck driver. (I quit before I fell asleep at the wheel and killed somebody), but I never blocked the fuel island, washed my truck with a squeegie, blocked a scale, slid my tandems on a scale, and I damn sure NEVER wore flip-flops.
They should put the fuel island on the way out away from the stores, truck centers, garages, truck washes ,scales and parking and anything else so all you can do is fuel and leave and get on the road, one way into it and then out.
"Are you that broke you can't afford a truck wash?" In this economy, more truckers than you'd think would probably say yes, TBH(Here, here!). For any truck wash that's worth a damn, they charge in excess of 50 bucks nowadays, sometimes close to 100! Edit: I use my own squeegee and move out of the way when I'm going to use it.
Oversized and Overweight drivers are the biggest fuel lanes blocker, because they are so large it is difficult to go in and out of the truck, so when ever they have to get out they make sure to stock up on all the junk food before they get back in.
Once you pull to yellow line, you have 5 minutes before next guy is done fueling. Just enough time to pee and grab a quick snack.
Volvo Mafia. Bad Dudes
So I’m confused? I thought the protocol was to get fuel pull up to the line go in then leave? Isn’t the point of the line to go in real quick and get your stuff then hit the road again?
Can't watch the entire video. Laughing so hard I got cramps 🤣
Ike you are fighting a losing battle, Mega carriers full of green horn/ foreign drivers have Designated Loves and some other Fuel n Go fuel stops, Creating a “Bonehead F-Tard “ Haven ! I stopped fueling at Loves 8 years ago and rarely use the parking lot , Truck stops were never like that in 80’s n early 90’s , Gives you plenty of content for your RUclips channel though 😆
It's never going to dry up, but if he reaches one person. Progress is being made!
Guy at 9:39 looks like someone already told him not to block the fuel island. Lmfao Black eye and all. lmfao
I can't wrap my mind around how people can be so inconsiderate to others. You don't know others circumstances their going through and if they can afford to wait for your order to be cooked at McDonald's. You can say they should manage their schedule better but you don't know if their doings or not. I've had to run tight schedules because of late dispatches, officers taking their time on inspecting, sit at a stop on the freeway because of accidents, etc. People need to have better respect for others and be considerate. If anyone's the type of driver trying to normalize breaks on the fuel island, I hope someone records you and your company sees it and fires your self-centered ass
Taking his 30 min break 😂😂😂
sometimes I have gut rot and have to do this. but I hurry and come back out. I apologize but sometimes you have to when there is no parking. but coming back out with subway or whatever is annoying.
I won't eat anything from the flying J 🎵 Diarrhea my old friend 🎵. 🎵 I've come to talk with you again 🎵
