      Electric cars will always be an alternative mode of transportation. Clean burning fuels, like hydrogen combustion are the future, AND we get to keep combustion engines, with zero emissions and reuse most if not all of our current gasoline/diesel infrastructure. It's already there and built, just needs modifications and fill it up with a different liquid.
      At least, that's the most logical way forward, but unfortunately with most governments being run by idiots, we may fall into an all electric trap, in which case, prepare for innevitable and potentially apocalyptic events to follow an electrical blackout from any numerous advanced weaponry or even conventionally methods of interrupting a power grid. Putting all our eggs in one basket, and fully relying on the electric grid to handle hundreds of millions of cars in addition to everything it can already barely handle, sounds like a pretty piss poor idea.

    I think the future of the internal combustion engine is Hydrogen. Hydrogen will run in any conventional internal combustion engine and runs especially well in engines designed specifically for the fule. They can run up to 15% more efficient than gasoline-powered engines and down to 0 emissions. All this while maintaining the best part, the soundtrack.

    The most important thing about this engine was not mentioned in this video: The engine is self-supporting and it's the first road engine to be like this. There is no supporting chassis or structure (without the engine front and back wouldn't be connected at all) and it still wheighs only 206kg. This helps to make the overall car lighter (with around 1000kg it is already lighter than anyone else of its competitors) and it also helps to make the bodywork more narrow at the rear, so there is more space for those huge diffusor tunnels.
    People need to learn: This car is no fat Bugatti or Koenigsegg. This car is not only about straight line speed. This car is about cornering speed in the first place. 1000hp and 11.000rpm is in fact just a side note of this car.

      @@nik7bkh965 yep but they're not +900hp, high rpm engine are fun but not comfortable that's a fact and that's why Bugatti choose a smooth big turbocharged engine and you don't always to drive crazy and doing 0-200kmh all the time but just drive normally

    • @nik7bkh965
      @nik7bkh965 5 лет назад

      @@randylahey3988 you probably have never driven a Mustang. The NA V8 is much smoother and more comfortable than most turbo charged engines with similar HP. Cruising with low RPM is literally the Definition of a comfortable ride, and NA engines can do that perfectly fine while Turbocharged engines always need some RPM for their turbos.
      Bugatti chose a big turbo charged engine because of its power output and not because it ensures a comfortable ride! 1500hp are not really possible in a NA production car engine, and that's the only reason why Bugatti chose the turbos. They want to deliver maximum HP to go for speed and acceleration records, and not For comfortable travels.
