An EG Hatch, a Root Style Supercharger, a Type S K20A2, MR2 Power Steering, Type S transmission with shorter gears, NSX brakes, OEM interior parts from different Honda models, a gig with Google and Honda Ridgeline parts. Mix them all and you got a supercharged K20 EG6.
*Type S K20a2 Technically there were some DC5 Type Rs with k20a2s in Australia and New Zealand, but I would guarantee this engine is from an RSX Type S

I had an EG back in 2005. Gray. LS VTEC TURBO. I was more for looking clean. So much memories and pulls. I had more than one EG. Also my car was a Blue Del sol slammmed. 4 integras 96-99, CRX, EK COUPES, ACCORDS 93-2001. I had a whole bunch of Hondas
It's so nice to look at it, clean and simple interior, unique color on the exterior and a powerfull engine under the hood that no one expects. Very nice!
I ran the same blower on a k20Z3 and it was a blast. Superchargers have always been my preference on K series for the simple fact that the power band is so smooth and so steady and predictable.
I remember when he was building that car. He was like a king to us. He worked at Honda Acura specialist in jonesboro. For those with the money , they did a lot of work for people who had no idea what they were doing.
Coming from someone who owned an R53 Mini Cooper S(RIP), I love this idea. Having all that fun and supercharger whine in a reliable package. Hell yeah!
Supercharger for daily. Hands down. My wife drives an 07 cobalt ss and loves driving it every day. Really fun and reliable. My 07 bmw 335i is much faster but much less reliable.

So true, I have a full bolts on long tube headers 2014 5.0 along with a Dyno-Tune and race a 330 hp turbo hatch back, the thing was by my side the whole time. My car has 410 whp so yup, they’re beast 4 bangers 🤙🏻

While I've always preferred Toyota's I like Nissan and Honda just fine. I've read enough about Honda builds and culture at this point to know that there are plenty of reasons to do a Honda build, accessibility being one of the main reasons I often see cited. I drive a Toyota atm but I'd be glad to drive that Honda hatch featured in this vid.

Wow. We used to do this same set-up back in the 90's. AMS did that to.my brothers 99 focus I turned into a mach-1. Used to design cars. You wouldn't believe the list of cars our family has had. We were one of AMS first customers. 92 galant vr4 that looked stock, puttin down 350 to the ground! Good 'ol 044. Had it for 10 years. Hope she is well.
Tom's silver B18C5 EG was the most popular build on H-T for years back in the early/glory days. I remember dreaming about that car, I was 15 then, I'm 32 now haha. Time flys. His new EG is very nice.
Supercharged FWD is like a perfect pairing on a super light car like an EG, you can rev it right into the turns without any fear of hitting boost and suddenly spinning the wheels.
I have both and I like them for different reasons. I have pretty much that same setup in my EM2. It's a great daily that's easy to drive. She spins the tires but there is no worry about boost surge. My other car is a turbocharged AP1 and can be a hand full. When boost comes on she wants to go sideways. Couple that with a performance clutch and lightened flywheel and daily driving can be a chore, but she can scoot. So on ramps and an open stretch of freeway are fun for quick pulls.
This is a cool ride. Me not being a total car guy but enjoying the works of art thru these kind of videos iev never seen a civic with a super charger you always see turbo. Very cool

@@TheRyansLion I don't think that's correct. The rear suspension on those models consisted of trailing arms with lower/upper lateral links. Only cars like the S2000 or NSX had double wishbone in the rear.
Exactly! It's nice to be able to roll into the throttle mis corner and have it firmly planted. It'll never be as fast nor have the top end pull of these badass turbo'd Hondas out there making over 500whp, but it's also nearly impossible to get 500whp laid down mid corner in a street car on street tires.

Everything about this Civic is perfect. Wish I had kept my one owner 94 EG hatch I had in 2004. Now you can't even find eg's in my state unless you want to do serious rust repair.
After being in a 2019 civic type r on a spirited drive with full interior I can honestly say that 300 hp in a tiny car like that must be almost crazy. By the way the stock 2019 honda civic type r is 300 hp.

Maximus Moua with high hp N/A, turbo or supercharged Honda’s you hit the rev limiter because the tires are just spinning loose and you have to wait for them to catch enough traction to shift to the next gear
I’ve known the original builder of this car for 22 years now and every car he’s ever built he’s built to perfection. Even in high school with limited funds he never cut corners. He’s a mechanic at the local Honda dealership in Clarksville, tn so if you ever had the pleasure of him touching your car, you know it was done right. Awesome car and even more awesome build!!!!
Yeah man the details are nuts. I've owned the car for over two years now, and I've yet to encounter anything less than perfect in terms of quality. Every bit of wiring, connectors, bolts used, etc. etc. Mist people cringe at the idea of buying something shaved and tucked from someone else - this is still 100% easy to work on, troubleshoot, etc.

Sigma Projects The 88-00 Civics and 91-01 Integras had double wishbones in the front AND the rear. No multi-link here...

After being in a 2019 civic type r on a spirited drive with full interior I can honestly say that 300 hp in a tiny car like that must be almost crazy. By the way the stock 2019 honda civic type r is 300 hp.

Maximus Moua with high hp N/A, turbo or supercharged Honda’s you hit the rev limiter because the tires are just spinning loose and you have to wait for them to catch enough traction to shift to the next gear

I’ve known the original builder of this car for 22 years now and every car he’s ever built he’s built to perfection. Even in high school with limited funds he never cut corners. He’s a mechanic at the local Honda dealership in Clarksville, tn so if you ever had the pleasure of him touching your car, you know it was done right. Awesome car and even more awesome build!!!!
Yeah man the details are nuts. I've owned the car for over two years now, and I've yet to encounter anything less than perfect in terms of quality. Every bit of wiring, connectors, bolts used, etc. etc.
Mist people cringe at the idea of buying something shaved and tucked from someone else - this is still 100% easy to work on, troubleshoot, etc.
