Till this day 2023, Iphone only give you 5gig of free space for icloud cause they really want you to pay for the extra storage. 5gig defy the purpose of back up anything to icloud in 2023. Apple always very manipulative.

I got storage but it still say cannot be backup because there is not enough icloud storage available why??
You probably need to upgrade your iCloud storage. Doesn’t matter how much phone storage you have….If you only have like 64 GB iCloud you can NOT copy your data from iCloud.

On your video it did not give you the option to transfer the messages. I saw other videos with the same method but some more options to choose for transfer... I did it once and it worked but now trying again and not all available

So when I get to the "Select data to transfer" option on the S23U, the "Data from iphone apps" isn't an option.
