Please stop saying that an IPS is worse than amoled. Ips screen is the only one I can use. When there won't be good smartphones with ips screens, I'll have to search for something else because no way I'm going with amoled.

you have got that wrong! AMOLED and OLED screens are hurting many PWM sensitive eyes. causing headaches, migraines and other neurological disorders. it's spreading like wildfire. This is why this device is going to be a perfect fit for me.

If you are a hard gamer you will prefer ips than amoled to avoid screen burn for playing longer than usual. I've been using Xiaomi Note 9 Pro for multiple years and the screen is still the same. No burn. No issues. IPS all the way! Amoled is overrated.
Not to mention AMOLED uses (most) pentile matrix sub pixel arrangement, you actually get less subpixel per pixel, which means there is roughly a 25%~ resolution difference between LCD and AMOLED screens
If you compare it to the poco f4 amoled screen, you can barely see the difference between the two phones display except the punch hole and the Bezel ofcourse.
I'm with the Poco F3 since April 2022. Kinda meh, idk. Refresh rate still auto switches to 60Hz and this drives me insane. I hate that I always have to go in Settings and switch it back to 120Hz.
Actually AMOLED is just more color accuracy ans better viewing angle than IPS. IPS is slightly cheaper and still can provide nearly the same as AMOLED. Just you might see some backlight compared to AMOLED and slightly eat more battery than AMOLED.

i still using a poco F1 and its still oke usb c port is bit wiggly but that a issue with usb C more then with poco. To be honest poco remade what made the poco F1, so good. I dont need water proofing, i prefer plastic phones: they dont shatter, i have zero cracks in my poco f1. Plastic also does not get as hot in gaming as a Glas IP rated phone. I could replace the batterij and my F1 would be as new, but if i mess that up I probably buy this one. Thanks for the review you just confirmed that poco is getting back to making real poco phones, with all the features you expect like a 3.5 jack !
Seriously, don't go for oled if you already seen the IPS, I switched from Poco X3 Pro to Poco F3 and really missed that true non interrupted white. Oled have this prism effect when tilting up and down, which gave blueish and reddish coloring.
@@only1anime89 I'm from an IPS, and going from it to Oled really feels a downgrade. But months using Oled, it feels ok now. Still annoying with its prism effect and low brightness setting.
@@only1anime89 modern IPS also have great contrast, the black is really black, and the white is even better than Oled. Oled tends to have tainted and redish white when the brightness is set lower than 100%. Colors also a lot more accurate than Oled.
The x4 GT ips lcd is as good as my fathers vivo v23 amoled . Where you can rarely spot the difference in quality of the image. Aside from black colors It is a plus for me , for the mere fact that i want this phone to last and not end up with amoled burn problem and other amoled hiccups
yeah, i was thinking abt it and i think long term, a good lcd is better than any amoled because ALL amoleds have the horrible issue of burn in. I don't think the better colors/contrast is worth it at all
@@wheezel55 dont worry with color/contrast as this phone can stand toe to toe with amoled, the only part where amoled beat this ips lcd is black color and always on display but if you aint focus on those and focus more on longevity as well as on gaming/long period of playing the x4 GT really performs well
Poco x4 GT is good i've been using it for 2 months no issue and no problem about the Ips lcd because its a high quality IPS LCD, My previous phone is amoled but there's no difference in x4 gT but the brightness only, but overall its a beast phone! ❤️
You are wrong. IPS isn't bad compared to OLED, it's a tradefoff. You can get flicker free dimming, similar gamut, and longer lifespan. OLED has better contrast and that's all.

headphone sound is nice. it has 24/192 audio support which is more than enuff. for audiophiles, samsung has 32/384 which is amazing but this performs well
U mad im using Poco x3 gt and that is already much better than X3 or X3 pro. Processor is everything for a phone. Nowadays cameras are pretty much the same on all types of phones unless you are some sort of professional photograher or something.

Got this phone, felt disappointed.. Its lacking on screen size.. Somewhat got used to the screen sizes of infinix, they're quite large.. Whats the point of having flagship gpu when its screen is tiny for those game grahical details.. Im even having troubles geting wrong typos..
If you want bigger screen prefer the F4 but the flagship on this phone is insane, big screen isn't really worth it for the gamers though as they focus on the performance. The screen size looks pretty decent to me I'd still buy it

I have the X4 GT and I can confirm this. Daylight it looks like amoled. Only in pitch black darkness you logically see more light from the display.

Poco x4 GT is good i've been using it for 2 months no issue and no problem about the Ips lcd because its a high quality IPS LCD, My previous phone is amoled but there's no difference in x4 gT but the brightness only, but overall its a beast phone! ❤️
