Have you tried the XB on your forehand if so what is your opinion on it? I am currently using the waran and looking to try out a vertical pip rubber

I use Andro Blowfish and it's not a soft rubber. 😅 The control is ok but it's very fast and it takes time to get used to. I gave 1 experienced short pimple player to play with it and he couldn't control it due to it's speed. But to be honest I'm starting to get used to it and I find it very effective. But I'm still not sure if I should change them. Everyone tells me to do so because they are just like inverted rubber and they don't confuse the opponent on any way. When I block it gets returned like normal rubber. But I don't know. Are all short pimples like this or not? I was thinking about the TPS Spectral I heard it's a good short pimple rubber to transition from inverted one.

Well it is normal, that it feels like a conventional rubber, as the featured pimple rubbers are mostly for attacking players and can also generate solid spin. If you are searching for those rubbers who confuse the opponent with weird floating or dropping shots, you may want to look for a defensive short pimp rubber or even long pimps, anti etc. But offensive short pimple rubbers definitely are a reasonable choice. For example: I am currently playing a carbon blade with tenergy 80 on both sides and would say that i have a decent backhandtopspin and i can also attack with the forehand, but i struggle to get good spin on my forehand. The problem is that i dont hit the ball in front of my body and i struggle fixing it because my movement is way too long. So my coach said that he suggests a short pimp offensive rubber on the forehand that could also generate some spin, so that my strength in countering top spins and really focusing on hitting it early would be supported that way. I think the blowfish is a very interesting rubber and i will try it alongside with the impartial xs from butterfly. Hopefully this answered your question.

Andro Blowfish is a very harmless SP.
Modern spectol versions are bad S1 is not like the old spectol.
