I was just about to reply to the same thing before I saw your post! I'm standing here doing my hair and makeup in the bathroom and singing along, but when I heard her tell the audience to sing, I glanced at my phone and saw that nobody was singing --- because they're all too freaking young to know who she is or know this song!🤣 That, and some of them maybe just aren't cool enough to know this song.😂
Incorrect! (Thank God!) Really young man to the right of her who is immediately to the left of the backup singer sings, "real love, is real scary" at 1:23 and the guy in the sun hat and glasses right behind her at 1:38 sings the chorus.
I was sooooo happy to see some singing, especially anyone young!!!!! Gave me hope lol. And I can see because I'm watching on my TV.

Some of these folks probably weren't that familiar with Sheila E. To people like myself, I know she's one of Prince's talented protégé. The glamorous life is a classic. But I am sure there are people who may never have heard of it.
