Hey! I've been working in tech for the last 4 years or so. Best bit of advice I can give you is have a go at making something, anything. Physical things like a raspberry pi robot, or software things like a mod for a game or a toolkit for something. Either that will become your full time job, or it becomes really good cv leverage for conversations for bigger jobs All the best!

I love this channel concept, Im 15 and for a while now, ive been struggling mentally and with school a lot because i feel like it holds me back A LOT from what i want to do with my life. And i just hate the idea of studying things i wont ever use in my life. If you read this ashton , im 100% even 100000% sure that you will 1 million subs someday, even if its not apex content i will still be there to support you as much as i can because tbh, your silly little videos have helped me a lot more than you think in life, at really tough days you managed to make me atleast laugh or smile. Hi man, I'm 15 too and it looks like I've been going through the same as you do for the past year or so. I also feel like school is holding me back from what I could be, all those hours in a classroom when I could be enjoying my life and trying to understand myself a bit further everyday (especially considering that I'm french and that the school system is beyond dog shit). Also i know what it feels like to feel like your friends aren't considering you as a friend as much as you do and that's really though. I've moved out to another city after the end of the school year and so I lost all my friends and looking back at it they were the best friends I've ever had. It made me realise that reason they weren't invating me this much is because I was just staying home playing apex all day and they thought "well surely he is not gonna come". I am now way less addicted to apex and I spend more time doing other stuff i enjoy but now that I would be ok to go out i don't have the friends to go out with. Moral of my personal experience : going outside rather than playing apex 12 hours a day will always be a good decision. You asked : "should i be worrying about things like this at my age?" and from what i can tell the happiest ppl I've met aren't necessarily the dumbest as some people would tend to say but the one that don't overthink. So i would say don't ask yourself too many questions.

When I was around age 14-15, I wanted to become a racing driver, inspired by F1 of course. So I wanted to become an F1 driver. Problem was, I was too old, as kids started karting before they even went into development in the mother's womb through descriptive processes. Although I had another passion, and that was for the engineering side of racing. I'm currently in the senior year of my High School, or secondary school in other countries, and I now want to major in Motorsports Engineering. I am aiming to get into Purdue University. My question for you: Before you went on to be a RUclipsr Full time, did you have another idea as to what you were going to be, or how you were going to live out your life? When did you decide to become a RUclipsr full time? And what games did you play other than Apex Legends?

I want to be an electrical engineer im currently in my first year of college learning how to balance life as an adult with school and work. It's been a big ride ive had amazing moments and other things but im currently very happy with my life
In a lot of ways, I think people who have a set goal are really lucky and should acknowledge how valuable it is to just have a goal in mind. For me, I’ve never really had a “dream”, sure I’ve had things I enjoy, but for one reason or another I don’t see myself being able to pursue it as a grand accomplishment.
I think having an X subscriber goal is totally understandable, but I've found having goals regarding things in my control such as making/doing things that are fulfilling to me, enjoying the process and always getting better, rather than a goal of having X dollars in my bank account or X followers on social media is incredibly fulfilling and a lot more important to me. and that's something I'd recommend for anyone to have and you've already mentioned how hitting 100k didn't feel very special so maybe it's worth adjusting your goals to be more intrinsic rather than extrinsic
I gotta say i feel like watching ash try a minecraft series would be awesome cause it is a way more calming game then apex and it hits a different market
my dream is to be a viable friend and girlfriend. this means fixing my mental health which is terrible right now. i love my boyfriend so much but he is scared to be with me because he fears i might just decide one day to not exist anymore (which is a valid fear). Now my dream is to be a RUclipsr or steam but I want to do it with apex, see everyone says apex is dying and it sucks witch suck because I see that and realize that and I hate that it’s true because I have such a deep love for this game it’s one of my 3 joys in life. Well, I've always felt like my life has been filler so my kids can have the main storyline. Back in 2012 I was 6, and during grade 1 and 2, I was treated terribly by teachers. It made me hate school because I was scared to go. I knew that I would just get to school to be bullied and get in trouble because I tried to stand up to my teachers. In grade 12, just before I graduated In the summer, I wrote a beautiful poem about how I think school is prison, and kids miss out on so much because of the time they waste. Education is drawn out in NA, and can be done much faster but screw us ig. My dreams are to give my kids the best life where they can experience the beautiful world for what it is. I also have been writing novels and big books since I was 13, which is about when I discovered I thought my life was filler for my kids. In these stories, I kind of make up how I wish my life went. They are very important to me, and I plan to get them out there... Not for money, but so that other people can enjoy my heart and soul. I have a hole in my heart that I believe can only be fixed by having kids. The other way is long too late now. My books are very important to me, and I really enjoy writing them. They are adventures I can and have always ever dreamed of having. And they create a giant story that all pieces together in the end. I have fully finished my first one, and I currently have about 10 books in the works, some connected to the first and some not. But now I just have to get myself out there.

As for my dreams... Well, I've always felt like my life has been filler so my kids can have the main storyline. Back in 2012 I was 6, and during grade 1 and 2, I was treated terribly by teachers. It made me hate school because I was scared to go. I knew that I would just get to school to be bullied and get in trouble because I tried to stand up to my teachers. In grade 12, just before I graduated In the summer, I wrote a beautiful poem about how I think school is prison, and kids miss out on so much because of the time they waste. Education is drawn out in NA, and can be done much faster but screw us ig. My dreams are to give my kids the best life where they can experience the beautiful world for what it is.
I also have been writing novels and big books since I was 13, which is about when I discovered I thought my life was filler for my kids. In these stories, I kind of make up how I wish my life went. They are very important to me, and I plan to get them out there... Not for money, but so that other people can enjoy my heart and soul. I have a hole in my heart that I believe can only be fixed by having kids. The other way is long too late now.
My books are very important to me, and I really enjoy writing them. They are adventures I can and have always ever dreamed of having. And they create a giant story that all pieces together in the end. I have fully finished my first one, and I currently have about 10 books in the works, some connected to the first and some not. But now I just have to get myself out there.
