I feel as if apex is getting sloppy with their game and just flat out boring and as one I really liked the game at a one point and as of now I can’t play much without getting bored and someone like Ashton being able to get on and play at high ranks still and still being able to make good content for it to appeal to us is a hard job since there’s not much he can still make but he’s still making content even though there’s nothing to make content on but he still does it and also being able to express what’s on his mind and helping a bunch of people without knowing it. ❤

Hey ash, I have been playing games since around 2015 and I started off as a promising player on overwatch but as time has passed I cannot seem to find the joy in the games I love. Why is it that it seems over time I lose my skills? Now I’m sitting in my room playing many games I used to dominate it and now I can’t even make basic plays. It came to the point were games were my life and I started skipping school and almost ended my own life because I couldn’t keep up with other people who just were better than me. Now Im talking in past tense and these things sound like distant memories but they are recent I am hating myself day after day.and I just want to vent to you as you are who I watch I’m my free time. The simply Ashton channel is my hideaway and I spend hours watching you dominate but subconsciously I was just raising the bar of “how good I have to be to be truely good” so my big question is:how can I lower the bar my subconscious has set for me? How can I overcome my unrealistic bar of my own skill?

I love how one of my favorite RUclipsrs doesn’t pop up on my page I have to look you up and I had a gaming addiction used to play 8 hours a day every day and I just got to the point where if I wasn’t playing I was bored

Speaking of life drama I literally fainted when I got out of bed to pause this video, I fell and went through the wall head first, was at the doctors for 3hrs and figured out my blood pressure was super low cause of an unbalanced diet, so hopefully this is a one time incident

I completely love your talk on addiction as I myself have been addicted to something (🌽). It makes me sad seeing your views on this channel drop, and I think that’s because of your other channel, people see this one and recognize you and then they don’t stick around and it kills your algorithm. Im struggling with an addiction myself actually. I'm addicted to my friends. I like need to be around other people. Its strange and i dont know how to counter it. Its been such a problem to where during break, when my friends irl are traveling and can't hang, I've pretty much been solely on my computer, playing with my friends. Not to mention it's really hard to get everyone to communicate and meet up, which means ive become pretty much addicted to gaming, since people online actually want to hang out, and theres almost always someone availibe. Its like I'm not really happy unless I'm with someone else, yk? And ofc there's moments and stuff where I'm happy by myself, but its wayyy less common. I don't know how to be sufficiently happy by myself. Do you have any tips?

I wanted to talk about something i've been dealing with over the past year or so. We all go through hard times and I figured talking about one of mine might help change the way someone else looks at theirs. I'll have a proper video coming out on main talking about some of the more creative reasons why i'm playing Apex less in the next week or so. I don't hate the game and it's not a goodbye forever, but change is good and i've never been so excited to be a creator. So many new doors open with me doing this and I can't wait to show you what i've got in store this year! I may not upload every week, but I promise you, when i'm not uploading - i've been working SO hard on my future projects... and now's the time for them to finally start being released. Appreciate all of you ✊

ouf! That question about my biggest problem from the past when I couldn't think of anything else anymore... followed by the assumption that the problem has almost no more impact on me... . Trigger-warning! That breakup shook me to the core. There are litteraly two versions of me. The before and after breakup version. One reckless, mindlessly speaking hedonist, who abused drugs and lived with only single thought on the future of how to get the next dose of dopamine. Not giving a single fork on anything or anyone (but that girl I had back than). Then the breakup happend. I was cheated on (I strongly assume). And getting over the worst took almost 2 years. I was deeply miserable and suicidal to say the least. And still, more than 10 years after I'm not fully recovered and still have trust issues. On top of that I could never feel the love for any human being anymore as deeply as I could love before ever since. Not for me, not for my family, nor for anyone. And this remains, I guess. During and after the process of recovering I started to attend adult school to get my a-levels. There I met my current girlfriend (we just hit the 7th year mark). And I'm currently studying at an univerity to become a mechanical engineer. Never touched illegal drugs afterwards ever again and even quite on smoking after 10 years, which lasts now for more than 3 years. And I'm moving on, improving myself every single day. Fighting myself everyday a little lesser. Even felt sincerely good recently sometimes. And your content was a pice of the puzzle to that formed that picture of mine today. And five years from now? I'll be leading engineer of a team of constructors, designing heavy duty special machines. Also I'll be having a decent side income form my youtube-channel. And maybe even be father of two... Unless... you know... ww3 breaks loose. Let's not hope for or joke on that... Nice summerization at the end. That conclusion you draw there was part of me achiving my a-levels. Just don't get in the state of excluding the emotions for too long on too many things. That can become a hard to undo state.

I think apex is in a sticky situation because at this point we don’t ever get a new gun nor map take over or legends at this point the big part of updates is just skins now more ways to monetize the game even more which sucks because that isn’t content

Ashton tbh I don't think you are an apex creator. You're funny and helpful and make great tips. Take what gets you views (favorite loadouts, special challenges, stuff like that) and go put it into other games! Any popular or cool games will have an audience. That audience will watch your videos, bc your actual real fans will also stick around. Im excited to see the future of your channel love u man!

If you don’t enjoy playing a game, don’t play it. You said in your first video that you want to reach a mill subs which is extremely hard. And to be honest theres only one guy I know who has that many subs and plays Apex and that is Zylbrad and he didn’t used to post just Apex content. At some point I plan to become a RUclipsr and get a mill subs, and maybe even a hundred mill! (I know that’s not possible but I still think about it). Being a gaming RUclipsr is hard, and to be honest to be a really successful one you have to either play Fortnite, or play a Variety of games, like Markiplier and Jacksepticye to name a few. That’s what I plan to do. Yet I still love Apex. It is my favourite game. The thing is not everyone shares my opinion so I can’t be successful just playing it. Whatever you want to do, I support you fully and you need to understand we all do. You’re such a funny creator and I really do hope that one day you will really reach 69 million subs. Keep going. You can do this. Jesus Christ that was a long comment.
