I'm a 14 year old British somalian and I was always different! My hair wasn't like my friends it was long and curly, I didn't have the same features, different skin tone, and a very different culture. The one thing we have in common is our language and likes and that is why we love each other. I think I have the most multi cultural group of friends and none of us ever thought we were better then another due to race. Personality counts. This girl has to come out of that box she thinks is life!
The most biracial people that is what they thinks, especial when they have one side is white ... even when they have relationships or marriages they marrys white
She really makes me so sad because I think I understand why she feels the way she does and has no sense of identity. She was probably like me, growing up in a predominately white neighborhood, when you're one in 5 of the only black people in the whole school and you just want to make friends and be accepted.
@da1nonlybenzie I'm a black woman with a mixed race (half blk/half wht) son and I have always raised him to be black, white and proud. He's 10 now, but when he was in daycare for some reason they were talking about race and when my son said he is black and white, a Hispanic day care employee told my son 'no, you're black.." His biological mother is black and his biological father is white...that is a fact, no rule, law or opinion will EVER change that. MY son is black AND white!

Hi user. I would like to thank you for giving us all of these FULL videos. I am very happy that you took your time out and did this for all of us. :D thank you!
I'm Puerto Rican-Dominican and I look black and people think I'm black all the time and it doesn't bother me one bit . If I really was black , I would carry myself with pride and dignity and love the skin I'm in :)
I used to wish I was white but that issue for me came from going to a preschool where I was the only child with color, the other kids said I had black disease and they wouldn't touch me or play with me. I'm in fact, Arabic and East African. I have found that since I moved to America, people are very good at separating and categorizing people. Eventually the whole world is going to be brown but don't fret we will find another reason to hate and segregate each other
I am a mix between white and hispanic but people always think im just white. I want to look more mixed so people can see my mixed culture on the outside because i believe the mixture of cultures is a beautiful thing. Usually people just stick to dateing their own race so i get weird looks when i hold hands with an asian guy and people question it. I just really want things to be more accepted..
It.s called the confederate flag. If you.ve ever been to Austin, TX, they have it blowing in the wind at some libraries, schools, and other places. The point is that yes, the civil war was about abolishing slavery. But it was about many other things as well. Austin is the LEAST racist town I.ve EVER lived in. Black people I met were lovely, just as the whites, Mexicans and all those in between. I believe it to be Southern pride and hospitality, which has no race or skin color prerequisites. It is lovely and a beautiful thing; I wish we had that pride and hospitality all over this country.

I feel so bad for her. I'm due in august and my daughter will be white, african american, and native american. I hope that she will love herself and not want to be anything else no matter if she is dark or light. My husband and I both agree that we want our kids to embrace every part of who they are. Not just the white, black, or Native American parts, but all three of them.
I'm mixed and claim no "side", but if Tyra would've asked me "what color do you see when you look in the mirror". I'd be offended tbh, who the fuck asks that...
No, I am not an actor and I was on there. Tyra cut me out b/c I refused to say I hated being black. She is a trip. The mistake she made was giving them her camera: they took that one image and blew it up. Jenna just was confused...
I've heard this was very common with Talk shows but especially Tyra. There are other people on RUclips saying the same thing. As much as I pity that girl And don't agree with her I highly doubt she knew she was coming on the show to be bashed.

I like the different issues and social experiments that were featured on the show but I'm glad it got cancelled. The show was meant to have people tell their story and be heard, regardless if it was (morally) right or wrong, it was supposed to be their time to tell their story. I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice this, Tyra basically attacked this girl because she didn't agree with her point of view.
@cheetachan10113 I think many people are confused as hispanic as a race due to the high presence you get of mainly mestizo which is (half amerindian half euro) looking people classified as a race, mainly coming from Mexico, but what I have mentioned in the others, they are not limited to the Mestizo looking people. (And sorry this is soo long, this topic as well interests me and have been to some of the countries that were mentioned)

@@arthurm.358 Nah her mom is full European, at least she appears to be, and yes even if her mother was biracial and her father African she would be still mixed.
I agree with what she started to say at 5:57. Since the "N word" is so horrible and the worst word in the English language, let's not hold it exclusively for black people. Let's not reserve the worst word ever for people of African descent. We don't deserve the exclusive offence of the worst word. We have not done anything to have the worst word reserved just for us! It is a word that should be used to describe ANYONE...not just people of African descent. I remember when I lived in NYC for a year back in 2014, two Caucasians got into a fight on the train. It was a woman and a man and they were yelling and throwing food for some reason. The woman called the man the "N word" and he said "I'm not even black!" It was so annoying because that big fight had NOTHING to do with a person of African descent yet we got brought up anyway only because the lady called him the worst word in the English language which is traditionally reserved only for people of African descent. I thought...no...if you are going to use the word, don't reserve it for people of African descent, use it for anyone. The point is this; using the "N word" which is the worst word in the English language to only describe people of African descent reinforces the idea that we are different from the rest of humanity and not only different but less that human. So by expanding the use of the word to describe HUMANS in general and not just humans of African descent, it neutralizes and weakens the power of the word to target and humiliate a group of people that has historically been targeted and humiliated for no reason.
That Jenna girl has a point about black people, when I see a group of black people I usually feel intimidated even though I'm black. I'm not saying we're hooligans or anything, but the way a lot of black people carry themselves its no wonder other races look down on us. Anyway, I am proud of every races in me regardless of the fraction of it (mostly French St.Lucian though :) )
if she thinks that about her confederate flag i wonder what she would think of my british pillow. Im not british I american, but I love british people and british culture
Jenna said she`s not always accepted. The same thing happened to me; it was against my jamaican family. They r racist against black Americans. They dont c me as mixed, which makes me ashamed
She is correct that the rebel flag is not necessarily racist, though there are plenty of racist people that have it. It can be a southern pride thing with nothing to do with race. People in the south view the Civil war very differently than many people in the north and the west. However, the reason she is carrying it IS racist. She's carrying it in order to only claim her white side because she hates the black race, she's not carrying it for any southern pride at all.
I'm 100% African American and people all the time think I'm bi-racial because of the way i talk ... i hate that i don't have to be loud an ignorant to be black
@cheetachan10113 Every country I mentioned though has every kind of race but the ones I listed had a higher presence.
