- Turkish Airlines Trip Report flying from Istanbul to Vienna onboard one of the Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 Sharklets on a lovely summer afternoon over Eastern Europe.
A super-comfortable flight from Istanbul to Vienna onboard a Turkish Airlines A321. When you fly with Turkish Airlines, even if it is on a short European flight, you see perfectly why they were awarded several years in a row as The Best European Airline.
Turkish Airlines can't be compared with any other European legacy airline. It's as simple as that. They are well above any other European flag carrier. The onboard service is just delicious and you even have 2 options for the hot meal! The planes are equipped with WiFi, personal screen, the legroom is good in all seats...
Based on my personal experience, Turkish Airlines deserves all the prices they earned all these years. Even now, when all legacy airlines are reducing services, Turkish Airlines keeps the same high standards they had before the pandemic.
And now, with the new Istanbul airport, they also have most probably the best European airport. It's completely new, huge and full of everything you can imagine. Of course, other airports in the world can beat the new Istanbul airport, but I can't recall any in Europe. Can you?

I always had nice experiences with them ;)
I flew several times with TK. The most exotic flight with them was from Shiraz, Iran to IST. Haven't been at new airport yet. Despite some aspects, I really enjoyed flying with them - especially food & drink service. For late April I have booked flight with Turkish to Uzbekistan and I hope that nothing will disrupt this journay that i can 't wait

Turkish Airlines is the best in Europe and among the top five in the world: new Istanbul airport Is a marvel and inflight experience is always top quality. Very nice the meal, one of the last major airlines still offering a real meal in two hours flights...GREAT!

Un vídeo muy bueno , me ha gustado el Aeropuerto de Estambul, las excelentes imágenes que has tomado sobre Viena que incluso sale un palacio con su enorme jardín , y también me ha impresionado ver esos dos aviones que se cruzan en el aire es espectacular la sensación de verlos en el aire ; ha sido un video de lo más entretenido sobre todo por conocer ese inmenso Aeropuerto o una parte de el porque creo que todavía falta más de el. Esta mañana me he enterado que la compañía Wizzair esta buscando muchos pilotos para su nueva flota lo comento como anécdota. Un cordial saludo y buen finde.

Woh el servicio en Turkish es sin duda increíble,si se puede decir que es la mejor de Europa,mi mamá viajo Bogota-Estambul en el 787 y el servicio excelente y después Estambul-Cairo en el A321 y igual muy bien,es más hasta tengo los audífonos y el kit de bio seguridad,excelentes crónicas cómo siempre amigos sigue así por más países para visitar,saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴 te esperamos por acá 👋🏽✈️.

I have never been in Istanbul before covid pandemic. But Turkey became to allow entrance of tourists from most countries in summer 2020, also they don't require PCR tests from transit passengers. That's why I visited this airport few times for 1.5 years.

Hola Lúcas,gran video como siempre,destacaría dos cosas,primero el aeropuerto de Estambúl llamado a ser el más grande después de tantos años de obras y segundo destacar a la aerolinea Turkish,como bien dices la mejor de Europa sin duda alguna,hice un viaje con ellos,Malaga-Bangkok con escala en el antiguo aeropuerto de Esrambúl(Ataturk),y la verdad que todo perfecto.

Para mí es de las mejores aerolíneas, la use por primera vez hace 6 años en el trayecto Bogotá - Estambul y ufff para ser un viaje mega largo ni sé sintió todo es excelente, el entretenimiento a bordo, la comida, las bebidas (te embuten todo el vino que quieras) en fin con ellos la experiencia es maravillosa, ya después la usé en trayectos como Teherán - Estambul y Estambul-Madrid y aunque son con aviones más chicos también la experiencia es sabrosa!
La verdad es que siempre he tenido buenas experiencias con ellos... pero bastante gente me ha dicho que como tengas un problema, contactar con ellos puede ser misión imposible... no se...

En resumen, usted no tiene ninguna posibilidad de quedarse con hambre. Además, es de gran calidad, limpio y delicioso. Saludos a los amigos latinos desde Estambul.

I used to fly with TK to go to Kabul, and we had someone pretending to be a cook onboard, with hat and all. It was hilarious, but the plane was old and even the biz class was not comparable with others. This was between 2009 and 2016

Como extraño mi a mi querida Viena. Un dato, si quieres hacer planespotting en Viena pero no quieres ir hasta el aeropuerto, puedes ir al Lainzer Tiergarten, subes la colina y los aviones te pasan por arriba, bien cerca, para hacer la aproximación final.

I have traveled many times with Turkish Airlines via Dubai to istanbul as well from Afghanistan 🇦🇫..and many other cities with.
Definitely it was enjoyable for me but unfortunately they suspended issuing visa in Afghanistan.
I really want to visit again.

Pero mi pregunta es, si estáis dentro del avión y especialmente volando, como sabéis cada pueblo y lugar que sobre volváis? Y me ha llamado la atención cuando habéis coincidido con algunas aeronaves volando sabíais a donde iban y etc....
Puedes ver el mapa a bordo en la pantalla.
Cuando el avion tiene pantallas, lo puedes ver directamente ahí. Si no tiene pantallas, entonces toca ir buscando uno por uno en Google Earth (lo cual me lleva unas cuantas horas hacerlo por video...).
