She is really a good dance instructor, I'm having problems to learn any line dances but with Donna I learned so easily. I thank you very much with the way you teach, I hope you can make more dances. Truly, appreciative to your hard work n teaching techniques. I love your ways, cristy
Yes, I did agree with anye76 who commented a year ago that she picked up this dance instantly n me too because she is really very very good. I wish she will make more dances. I highly recommended Donna n her dance group. Well done. Cristy
Excellent video! We do it a bit differently in Texas though. Here’s the Texas version: Stomp in rhythm until first verse Side kick to right Step right Side kick to left, Step left Kick cross Kick cross 4 heels Stomp and pivot Stomp Repeat
I have been going to the class for a few months now but the teacher never explains n we end up following each other and it turns into a laughing session instead of a dance session. In your videos you explained and showed the step so clearly n made it so easy to follow. I just want to say Thank you so much.x
Hi Donna, I love this dance too. Please do some more, if I can request can you please teach "Sunshine Waltz" line dance. Many are teaching it but i can't follow it, because your teaching technique is unique. kind regards, Cristy
I love this dance. Unfortunately I don’t have any rhythm to help. I’m also 73 years old so there is the balance issue. I love to watch the dancers. Copper road is one of my favorite songs.
Thank you so much, i been watching videos for many years and i always got lost at the "stomps" the other videos had the first stomp to the left and pivoit then forward stomp and it was too much and throws the timing off and then trying to catch up sucks. Your way forward stomp, pivot, then left direction stomp makes so much more sence and is a smoother transition. Thanks
When I learned Copperhead road we turned to the right and not the left. I tried to go left but it put extra stress on my left knee. Why do you turn left?
For those like me who are rather uncoordinated and need things in writing, I offer the following.... 4 heel (1,2,3,4). 2 kick cross. 4 heel (1,2,3,4) The following took me a while to get.... Stomp forward with right foot. As right foot comes back, pivot left with left foot. Right foot back together. (You're now facing 45 degrees left). Stomp forward with right foot. Feet back together. Back to the top.
Why use another song when it says "copperhead road" in the title? That makes no kind of sense what so ever when teaching a dance to a particular song, Other than that, great tutorial! Not many do it with the cameras behind them!
I really hate to say it..thats the laziest version i ever seen. Heel? How about a kick out? And some fluidity to the motion? There are many versions apparently. This isnt a good one. Sorry
Being disabled I am unable to dance but this is one of my favorite songs. I love to see people enjoy themselves dancing to this.
Great moves on a tight floor with many people
This is excellent. Because of this easy dance move I am able to teach seniors where I work. God bless!!!
My friend is having everybody dance this at her wedding and this video is amazing for the footwork. I even borrowed a pair of boots for it haha

Thank you! This will be the first line dance I’ve ever learned!
She’s a good instructor.
She counts it out and turns her back so her students can follow her steps.
You have a wonderful way of teaching. I picked this up instantly. Thank you🙂
A splendid tutorial for beginners like me. It's sooooo much fun to dance with it. Thank you. Donna.

Are of these dancers from Texas?? I feel like we do it way different than this tutorial.
I could never dance like that -I don't have the hat.
What’s the name of the song they danced at the end?
Tried this the other day and every time we turned I kicked a different girl in the shin...so here i am watching this video
,cew
lady in jean , cowboy boots nothing much better
I keep getting stuck on the stop to the right loose my place
How do you order the DVD?
Chris Difani You can order it from my website, www.donnasdanceclass.com or you can find it on Amazon. Enjoy!

+Taylor Gwen Yeah, that stuff throws me off as well.
The generic backing track is an inexpensive substitute played at similar tempo. It does the job.
geno1082 it's most likely for copyright issues.
Need to use the correct music to Copperhead road girl! Come on!
top mark my lady
Next step please
nice

ok...👍
My Chuck Taylors can’t get on this beat...
OK, suburbanites, this is how to be a cowgirl...or at least pretend you are one.
Real cowboys do not linr dance.
True, that's why I'm here to learn cause I don't know how to line dance
juicy
