Margarita with a straw, NH10, Talvar and Badlapur - all required a shout out! Margarita with a straw required much more than Tanu Weds Manu Returns or Dum Laga Ke Haisha in terms of acting, story and direction and was indeed a commendable film.
Best films for me: Bajrangi Bhaijan, Baahubali, Piku, Tanu weds Manu, Talvar. I don't know where to begin with worst movies but Roy definitely deserves the #1 worst spot
Just FYI, Anupama did mention that she missed a lot of films due to the Mumbai film festival. There's no need to be bewildered that she left out a few very good films.
Being a huge Ranbir follower, I even sat through besharam. But Roy, I couldn't keep my eyes open even though Ranbir looked ravishing. Roy really was the worst film of 2014. Thank you Anupama for a year filled with great videos! Happy new year!

I have not seen nor heard of Court, but I will definitely watch it now. I loved Hamari Adhuri Kahani, because I am emotional like that lol. I also loved loved Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Was only bummed that Jimmy Shergill didn't have much screen time (sob). He was amazing in the 1st one. I didn't watch anything I hated, thanks to yours and Sucharita's amazing reviews ( Hamari Adhuri Kahani was an exception though) 😬
To be honest I really enjoyed Dilwali. But what I didn't enjoy was Phantom, Bombay Velvet. And as for best film then my favourites are Bajirao Mastani, Bajrangi Bhaijan, DDD, Piku, Kis Kis se pyaar karu, Badlapur.
I find it so distressing that the number of views is so less for this video. Anupoma is such an amazing reviewer. I just love listening to her. Its pure class... Y is the indian public so much into glamour and not much into intellect. No wonder its such a backward country in so many ways. Probably its poverty, population and illiteracy all interlinked with each other. That people make atrocious stuff like Dilwale which makes a lot of money and great cinema like Masaan is not viewed by many. Y is this world truly so grim at a macro perspective? And y wasn't I taught all this in school and warned that I would b so disappointed and hence wouldn't have been. Y do I have to learn all this so much later on in life? hey Anupama, you missed out on "Broken Horses" to be included in the latter category. Indeed it was a "Hollywood" Project. But if a Marathi language feature "Court" can be a top film of 2015 in your list that is strictly "Bollywood", you can give a benefit of doubt to your hubby's masterpiece in "Hollywood".
I still haven't watched Roy, but I doubt that anything can be worst than Hamari Adhuri Kahaani. I laughed really loud during the whole movie and Anupama's favorite dialogue was also mine - the portuguese subtitle that I watched didn't miss the hilarity of the unintentional joke. It actually was subtitled "Who is the errant, who looks like a soulmate?". Poor Vidya. What was she thinking? I still can't get the appeal of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Just like the first movie, the script seemed lost and utterly inconsistent. If it wasn't for Madhavan's e Kangana's charisma, I wouldn't have made it till the end.

These ratings are just a personal view of anyone. But you can't miss to add Badlapur & Bajrangi Bhaijaan in top 5, whereas Dilwale should have been replaced by Action Jackson, which was a major disaster.
