Ive got the 2s which are exactly the same but a material change to the upper. 300 miles in mine, great shoe. Bulelt proof. Still looks brand new. Not the best on roads/ tarmac. Its got that gravel tyre kind of feeling to it on the road. Nice little rocker in it. Definitely for 50k plus mile ultras
Based on your review i bought a pair for 10+ km runs 3-4x a week on uneven trail surfaces with plenty of rocks, roots and mud. (Earlier was using Nimbus 26 and they have no traction on muddy surfaces). I'm finding these to be very stable even sprinting on rough terrain. Firmness and shock absorption over roots is better than my Nimbus 26s. They are generously wide in the toe and length is sllghtly shorter than a Nimbus 26 but more length than a Nimbus 23. I have already purchased a second pair while they were on sale and still in stock.
Yes. Thank you for validating that. I go through road shoes every month.. especially logging in 100 miles or so a month. Need to go with RUNNING shoes with TRAIL TREADS .. to make em last on roads.
I have 100 miles on the gel Trabuco 11 that I got on sale for under £100 they are similar and thinking of getting them up to 200 on the NRC app along the Cotswold way near where I live in cheltenham. Some people drive out to the woods for 20 mins every other day .I am still using the inov8 270 in the muddy trails but they don’t have the foam that the ASICS have that will take me into summer weather and then just nb rebel territory. The third trail shoe I want to take to 200 is the Nike wild horse 8 the tread pattern is better than the ASICS .Once got to the last few levels on the run app if it would be good to switch to strava.Your review was good.
Second! And i got Trabuco Max 2`s… love em. They feel like a truck, but can still handle most scenarios, and are comfy just for walking. Not the best on tarmac though when running… Used them for winter running here in finland
27.5cm SHOULD be fine, if you measured your foot in the evening after a day of work or activities… Feet swell during the day, and there should always be atleast 1cm of extra space for your toes. I probably got near 1,5cm of extra space for a warm sock (i live in the nordics) and swelling
@@vong4518 Tq for your reply. Because before this, all my shoes I ran on 28cm, this is my 1st Asic trail shoes.. That's why the sizing puzzled me a bit.. live in Malaysia by the way...
@@lynncastello7571no problem… My trabuco has about a thumbs width of space, so about 1,5cm of room. Just tried. Trabucos are slightly wider on foot than example Novablasts… So you might consider the 27,5 for a trabuco, but -maybe- 28 for others, since you don’t need warmer socks. Usually i recommend you try them on before buying, if possible…
I have the original trabucos (love them!) but reckon I’ll get the 3s for races. Incidentally, what max cushion road shoes can you recommend? I’m really struggling to find anything for road as comfy as the trabucos are on trail!

Went to store in my mind to get Hoka goats and left with these, the energy return on them is amazing, grip is great, impressed.
I have the ASICS Trabuco Max 2 and it is fantastic shoes and i use them alot for all running specially road running and my feet never feel tired
Hi, I wondered, if my feet was 26.5cm, should I buy the size of 27.5cm or 28cm for comfort?
@@lynncastello7571 I have 2 pairs, 1 pair in size 7.5 UK and another in size 8 UK and both feel fantastic and the 7.5 feels more snug and feels faster

I recently picked up the 2’s in my usual 10 and wished I had sized up as they run small for me.
I actually think its extremely good on tarmac, the cushioning really comes into its own

Hi... If my feet was 26.5cm, should I take 27.5cm or 28cm for this Trabuco?
@@lynncastello7571 : Foot shape varies. best to try them on consider the type of socks you'll be wearing with them.

That’s some serious mud 😮
How are you getting these so clean/fresh looking post run? 😮
had a pair of Adidas Terrex and was disappointed the Continental wore out too fast! It was pretty gud water resistant and had Boost, but did not last.
Another great video
Would you go for this or max 2 or trabuco 12
Need to get a new pair as my hoka mafate give me hot spots
I have ordered Trabuco 12, have you experienced them yet? If yes, any reviews...
I have the max 2 as they were in the outlet sale for £89
Couldn’t pay an extra £30 for the trabuco 12

I have the 2s look similar. What is the new upper like
This or the speedgoat 6?
How do these compare to the 2's ?
Great review but how is the upper in the rain, do you get feet wet fast ?

Is it FF blast + or FF blast + eco, as in Novablast 3's? Thanks!
FF Blast+ non-eco according to asics's site.
New balance more trail v3 vs caldera 7 vs trabuco max3.... Which one you prefer? I need room in the toes area..thx
Try em both on. Everyone's different.
True to size ?
Max 2 ran small…
This looks like it can replace my Timp 4 for long runs
Would these be good for Hyrox , pushing and pulling sled on Astro
If ya ain’t first you are last

Are you from the Black Country. Is that why you talk like that?
