Stumbled onto his music by accident this weekend, and my heart instantly became filled with all thing Malofeev. I consumed everything about him and marveled. I stayed up all night listening to him play. I watched him, the conductor and orchestra. I was enchanted. I am now hooked on the music and the person that is Malofeev. A shout-out to his parents. God bless you for the many hours you set aside for all your children, as well as for Alexander. (Atlanta, Georgia, USA).
I’m the same with you one year ago when I met his music on RUclips. I’m totally blown away and there’re all things Malofeev in my mind. Just astonishing!
When I wasn’t looking, he became a young man, and yesterday he was just a brilliant child! I hope his future will be happy and fulfilling and everything he wants it to be.

As a Pianist: every bit as astounding as have been all of the greats of the past. (In many cases, superior.) Equal to Rachmaninoff. No question. Nobody can really learn to play this way, though they may spend endless hours of practice and deciding on interpretation. This is a gift that one was born with. Total genius!
"Total genius." Well, just so you know, Alexander himself does not agree with this assessment. He mistrusts the word "genius" as applied to himself. Perhaps one day he will rightly change his mind.

But in the last months he confided to me his health was not good. Then on a later date I received a final comment on Derek and my conversation. Just letter P . That was all. He is beautiful beyond words!! I often wonder how HE feels inside himself, about his own self (just as I wonder that about each of us. We're each "the other person", to everyone except our own self). I bet it can be a little bit difficult for him, having many, many admirers. But just look at him!! Stunningly beautiful!! And of course his musical gift that defies understanding! His heart must be immensely deep. I love seeing him!!!... *sigh* :)
He’s absolutely beautiful outside & inside. He’s humble,kind & intelligent. I love reading his thoughts. His performances always bring fresh feelings. Whenever I watch him playing,my heart is always like…Ahhhh…Sobbing…touching…😭 He’s the treasure of the world. I can’t thank him enough!

Oh well, at least I'm honest... and "straight acting"... buuuut ;-) I've basically felt like I've had to "hide it" my whole life, so I'm used to it. But see what Alexander does to me!!? @@SteveFarmerMusic you’re right. I am a pianist whose parents were not supportive of my desire to play until I was well into my teens. Ironically, my mother was my first teacher when I was 13 and we didn’t have a piano in our home until I was 15. Most parents would be delighted to have a child like me, but not mine. I did manage to get a Bachelor of Music Degree 50 years ago. It’s a long story. My life is bearable, and so is my playing when I work very hard. I can only wonder what it must be like to be so beautiful and yet even more talented. What Karma! Alexander needs people like us, people who would know if he played a wrong note, to appreciate him.

He's on a whole different level from everyone else, isn't he? I've loved classical music all my life and gotten a lot of enjoyment from it. But the joy he gives me with his playing is something totally new. I hope he will always feel the same happiness he gives us.

I got the DVD of his recital in Paris on 31 January 2019. It is wonderful, good sound, modestly priced. He played a very demanding program brilliantly. I'm even more in awe of him now. I sense he'd rather play in a recital or concert hall than a recording studio. I hope he will release more DVDs of his live performances.
This live has DVD! It’s not mentioned on his website. I’m not even aware of it. Thank you for the information! Previously I’ve watched it online,indeed an amazing performance! And I also feel that he prefers live performance. He considers the most important thing is to perform in front of the audience. He seems loving to express the feeling through the live.

I completely understand why you have made this channel about Alex. I feel just the same as you. Every time I notice that he has uploaded something else on youtube I rush to listen to it! I heard recently on an interview that he has played the first Rachmaninoff sonata and I am hoping against hope that he will upload this piece onto RUclips at some point.

I wish there was a way to contact Alexander's management agent. It would be nice to start a "pay per view" or membership group to make video and music available to fans around the world for a fee. It would be a "win win" situation. If any agents or managers read these threads please give this some consideration…
I would love that and gladly pay for access to his performances, as I'm sure many others would.
I saw in an interview earlier this evening that he has a strong relationship with the Yahama company. Perhaps in the future something like this will happen.
