Saw Alexander in Phoenix. He played to five encores. Mesmerizing! I've been following him for years. A prodigy yet to reach potential. Can't wait to hear his own compositions. He has it all, beautiful inside and out. Gracious humble smile with a tall talent beyond his years. I hope we don't smother him with demand and give him latitude to grow.

It is not often that we can watch a great artist grow and rise to become a musical giant. I would love to hear Alexanders take on Rachmaninoffs Concertos 1 & 4 with Dimitris Botinis and the Russian National Youth Orchestra which would probably receive excellent reviews
@@789armstrong Yes,indeed. What a precious chance to us to witness his growth and developments! He will perform Rach 1 with NPO Conductor Arsenty Tkachenko on Dec 10. I definitely also hope that he could cooperate with Botinis again. An awesome conductor!

It is nice to see clips of Alexander when he is being a "normal" person and enjoying himself and those around him. Some of his fans have been worried about that aspect of his life. Of course, "normal" is different for each of us, and it is good to have a peek at that part of his life. Happy Birthday, Alexander!!

This comment comes from a grandmother in Canada, who also loves to play the piano (that is, I do my best at it!). During this time of pandemic I have been blessed with the piano music of this young man, Alexander Malofeev. I have shared the You Tube videos with a few young children, encouraging them to work hard, to experiment with the wonderful instrument the piano is. They look at me, and ask "how can someone so young play that instrument so well?" - A question, by the way, I am sure many adults also ask - but talent and discipline are the pillars - along with a simple teachable spirit. So when I see this young man bow during the applause at a concert I know that to bow is an honor to the audience. I pray that this young man will also honor the One who has gifted him with this extraordinary talent. You know, at my age, there is no sense at all in taking to much credit, especially when there is a loving God in heaven who always wants the very best for His creation. Remain teachable, young man!!
