My favorite new thing about Crown The Empire is the bass player doing the harsh vocals. It adds diversity and makes them seem more impressive as musicians, and a band as a whole.
The fallout album is amazing. You should check it all out and the resistance is really good also. This is a different sound then the other stuff. Andy us the same clean singer from before but it's a new screamer
David was the screamer but he was actually kicked from the band for drug use back in 2017, thankfully hes clean and doing his own music now. Hayden, the bassist just recently learned to scream which im hoping will become the permanent screamer.
Fantastic reaction ohrion i've been a massive fan of crown the empire since 2011 when the band released their debut ep limitless & albums the fallout & the resistance rise of the runaways.😀 I saw the band live supporting pierce the veil at the peel in kingston 9 years ago (2012) & they put on one hell of a show it was amazing i am so happy that these guys are bringing back their metalcore sound with their latest single & courtney laplante vocals were absolutely amazing on this song another life.😀 Keep the reactions ohrion well done.😀🤘
The other vocalist you are talking about(David) left the band in like 2017 I believe. He left to pursue his own music and such! Andy is still the same and the one mainly screaming has recently started screaming more in their songs! It was Andy for a bit though
Have you heard Shattered Moon by Before I Turn? It features Courtney as well, but has no actual music video I guess, but worth to listen anyways. :3 I think it's beautiful.
Ironic you get OM&M vibes from them. The first metalcore show I ever saw was back in May 2015, the Full Circle Tour. It was Volumes, Crown the Empire, and Of Mice & Men. So I see where you get the thought of them being in the same vein haha
They havent been this heavy for a minute and it is the same singer (andy) and is a different screamer (hayden) hes been in crown since the start it shows but i think just recently started doing the screams on sudden sky
