Wonderful video. Getting the archaeological work out of the way before the civil contract starts, is good risk management on potential disruption. I hope someone is including a services corridor, for watermain, IT ducting in the works. Great to see it, and the Foynes Rail Link upgrade proceeding in parallel with it.
Great video as usual! Thank you! Hopefully BAM won't be allowed to quote for the contract. They would triple the price and wouldn't be finished for 15 or 20 years. Look at the mess they've created at the Children's Hospital, more than a billion over budget and not a single one of the 3,000 rooms is fit for purpose.
The more I watch these DroneHawk videos of the Foynes freight line works and Adare motorway bypass the more angry I get we're not making the rail line a fully-fledged passenger service. 14k car journeys moved to a motorway when we could have moved SOME to a rail service. Criminal.
There's bigger issues to be getting angry at like the national childrens hospital debacle costing the state billions. This is a work in progress and passenger services could very well see a return in the coming years
Right? They're reopening a rail line but decided not to allow a single passenger use it. If you could travel from Adare to Limerick City by train how many car movements would that have removed?

As long as the contractors don't spend €300k on a bike shed...
Great footage as always!
Great update. They have a lot of service roads in place. making progress.
Essential Viewing for all Geography and History Students
Insane the amount of traffic congestion in Adare!
Great footage as always. Hoping for loads of your content on this project when it kicks off early next year.
Another great video! Still cannot believe that beautiful House is going to be demolition.
Thanks for the update, great video 👏

Actually all road projects they have been involved on are on time and well within budget
I reckon the government overlords aren't blameless for the cost overrun either - look at the OPW debacle
How long did it take to fill those canals in ? I'd be annoyed I made so many !
It cannot happen quickly enough especially for Adare and Tralee .

They are going to destroy the ringfort - what a shame and a disgrace.
