- Recently I visited Trinidad for just a few days. My niece Kashi and a neighbor (uncle Bato) made this delicious curry duck for me with a makeshift fire in the backyard. It was an absolutely enjoyable experience and I wanted to share it with you. The flavors of the duck was one of the best I've ever had --all because of the wood smoke that added another layer of flavor!

Good morning sis Ria, thank you for sharing. It's a tradition in Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique whenever you go back they call it saraka food as a celebration. Btw i ate that duck in FLORIDA once and a liked it...but ate Chinese roast duck a few times...duck tasted like deer 🦌 meat...i think
