After being loyal to solely Toyota for almost 10 years, I’m gassed. Making their dated infotainment twice as large doesn’t make it “with the times”. Besides, the new Tundra shows what it’ll look like for the next 10-15 years. I've had one 2012 TRD Sport 4x4, spruce green and gold pearlescent coating had it since show room new. 200K miles and no issues. Will be honest though, one big "zonk"(half zonk?) for me is the underseat storage. Love having it, and love the amount of storage it gives you, but one thing Ford did better with it imo was having it able to fold flat when you're not using it, like when you have something bulky you need in the back, but don't wanna put in the bed(idk, tv or something?)

People who are leery about the TTV6 should know that this is the same engine on the Lexus LS500. The turbos were designed and are made in-house by Toyota to ensure quality and fit for purpose. I read somewhere that they are also run fairly cool compared to other turbos and are understressed to ensure a long service life. Also, this is a Toyota, not a Ford, they actually care about quality and reliability.
IMO, the TTV6 hybrid is the powertrain to get as it will return even better fuel economy while being more powerful, and possibly even more reliable / durable compared to the normal TTV6.

As an owner of several Toyota’s in the past…I’ve never been able to buy a Tundra for 2 reasons mostly…the price has been outrageous( when compared to the competitors) and the gas mileage horrible if not the worst of all of them.
