You make it all look good, Boyan. (Also, Roland is a good guy. Enjoyed meeting and paddling with him at Catalan Champs this year. He also did a great dryland clinic with us too.)
I paddle a V9 here in South Florida, a concern with Swordfish would be ease of remount. Is it significantly more difficult from your experience? The V9 is easy to get back in, and a great playboat.
Thanks for the comment. It’s a good question and I am sorry I haven’t tried to remount the boat. I am sure I can because I get in at the shore the same way I remount. I will try and let you know. I have heard similar comment and also it feels like you sit in deeper in the swordfish compared to a v9.
Thanks for the comment. I think I had a merino wool long sleeve t-shirt. Vaikobi 3 mm long john and a Vaikobi wind breaker top. Here are the Vaikobi items: www.vaikobi.com/products/flexforce-3-0mm-long-john www.vaikobi.com/products/vdry-performance-smock-orange
Boyan, are you going write anything on the Tarifa site regarding your latest experiences with the Swordfish ? Or have you done it already and I can't find the article...
I liked the Swordfish. Speaking purely from perspective of handling there is nothing I could do in it that I can't do in a relevant stability Epic surfski - V10 or V9. I think the elliptical rudder from Epic is better for downwind and a friend of mine has bought me a few of those made in South Africa. I will receive them sometime next week hopefully and will put them trough the test.
Honestly one of the best all around surfskis ever.
It is a great surfski for downwind for sure
Absolutely awesome
Thank you

Thanks Joe! Yes, Roland is good and does a lot of mileage promoting the surfski sport.
Looks just like me in my Swordfish! 😂 I wish! Great job, Boyan!
Thanks Denise. And now we have a boat for you, the same as what you have at home.
There's a flow within waves, similar to a dancer who blends movement with music. It seems organic, the ski, paddler and sea, as one.
Thanks Josue!

Wow, it is really amazing !!! These are the best conditions for downwind, where is the place?
Thanks!
This is Tarifa, Spain going downwind from Tarifa to Bolonia.
it looks dangerous, that's why its amazing. Did you reach the land? How do you go back?
Thanks for the comment. Yes, I reached the land and uploaded the video to RUclips ;) I went back by car.

I have been slow with this. I will write an article soon. Maybe a video would be better?
What do you think about Swordfish, do you feel it better than epic?
