- Noida International Airport , also known as Jewar International Airport, is an upcoming international airport being constructed near Jewar in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh in India, which will serve the National Capital Region (NCR). Once completed, it will be an alternative to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi by relieving its high and rising traffic load, and is planned to be India's largest airport.

The land acquisition for all the 4 phases should be done now only. We in India know what happens once some project starts, land prices will go up, residential, commercial and office spaces will get constructed right adjacent to the airport and then later on when land acquisition needs to be done, there will be huge delays and cost overruns. There will be few residentials property owners and associations which will get stay on the land acquisition and everything.
This land problem occurs in every state of India with every major development project, be it airport or highways, people will always take up the adjacent land and then later on cause problems when expansion is taken up.
Bro abhi tak nhi mila compensation
Mudreh h gaon ka naa.
Dumb bsdk the land acquisition for phase 3 is about to start. phase-1 and phase 2 land acquisition has already been finished. Read before commenting
Yes agree
Who do you think acquire these lands? Politicians, those cost overruns go into their pockets, they've no incentive to acquire land noe
Wait for Rohingyas to settle there in slums and once they spread then the government will ask to leave and then victim card starts.

The Jewar Airport is located about 65 kms from Noida and 50 kms from Greater Noida. It is too far away from population. In fact Noida is nearer to IGI Airport. Jewar Airport’s success is a big question.
teri birth is big question
Please consider the following and your doubt regarding the success of Jewar will be cleared 1. Traffic jam issue towards Delhi , 2. Availability of seamless driving facilitated by the world class expressway, towards Jewar. 3. New planned Metro connectivity and Pod taxi.
Jahan Airport Banta hain city apne AAP waha develope ho jaati hain , India ke saare bade builders ne airport ke aas paas land liya hain jaha wo cities basayenge
Expressway banega Airport banne se pehle.
@@pranaychettri9628 let me put it this way: if someone in delhi (including ncr) wants to catch a flight, it would still be vastly easier to fly through igi simply because it is actually in the city. the reason such an airport works in bangalore for eg is because it is the only option there (there's a smooth expressway and everything). still if they built an airport inside bangalore city, people would immediately switch to using that instead.
Tokyo - Haneda ariport old & operating above capacity so they built Narita airport for serving Tokyo and greater Tokyo region ..... Dehli - IGI airport old & and operating above capacity so they are building this near Noida to serve ncr region and dehli ❤❤

Delhi needs a new airport, it's needed
Jewar should be solely used by Air India as it's primary hub while most other International flights should stick to IGI similiar to how Aeroflot uses Shermetyevo Airport as it's primary hub in Moscow while other international carriers use Domodedovo Airport
Then air india will suffer
absolute point. we dont want to see Indigo here. Let them be with their domestic business. They have tried to monopolize the industry enough already.
Do you want air india to go bankrupt ? Dude, everyone wants to use the IGI airport. Nobody wants to use the jewar airport. Jewar airport is literally in middle of nowhere and it take hours to reach gurugram or delhi. Most air Travellers prefer igi airport.
@@aviralsinghal1274 you mad or what? All satellite cities surrounding Delhi like, Noida , Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad, Faridabad Gurugram, Bulandshahar will all use Jewar Airport due to its close proximity compared to IGI. Go open the Google Maps to see the location of Jewar Airport and all these satellite cities
@@aviralsinghal1274 ok? And how exactly do you know that sir? Maybe you might not want it but I certainly do see the potential. Let the airport open first before jumping into bold conclusions. I for sure would use Jewar as not only will it be thousand times better than the current lackluster state IGI is in, but also the fact that it will be managed by Flughafen Zurich AG which will trump any airport in India by then, I can confidently this as i have been a regular transit passenger at Zurich Kloten many times and tbh the best airport i have been to other than Changi. Also with TATA shaping Air India into becoming a global powerhouse, it needs it's own hub without airlines such as Indigo, Emirates, Qatar and others butting in. AI Will also need to transfer it's secondary hub in Mumbai from CSIA to NMIA when it opens in a few years.
Category 3 is not for lighting of runways. It is the category of ILS used for landing by aircraft systems. Cat 3 is so good that it can provide complete instrument landing till touchdown even in zero visibility environment. Although Cat 3 specification requires sophisticated lighting systems but saying that Cat 3 means lighting system is misleading.
Well-made video with comprehensive information. But I would add that Sep 2024 is not the deadline for the completion of the airport, but it is the date for the start of the airport. So there is no doubt that it would be completed before that, as there are heavy penalties in case the deadline is not met. In fact, CM Yogi has asked the airport to be completed by March-April of 2024 and post that trials would start so that airport becomes operational from September 2024.
You could have also added that there is a spur which would link Delhi-Mumbai expressway to this Airport and approval for the metro for the airport has also been given and work for that also would start soon. And the metro for the airport would be high speed metro with max speed of 120 km/ hr similar to Indira Gandhi Airport.

You cannot have airports next to our house or in middle of a big city. Best to have it on outskirts and build infrastructure. Slight inconvenience is ok people do not travel to airports on a daily or weekly basis
Can someone explain what is per passenger thing at 03:26?
For every passenger ₹400 will be given to the government (or parties involved) for the next 40 years by the builder/bid winner, in this case Zurich International Airport AG
The Airport Operator ( in this case Zurich International ) will pay Rs. 400.9 / passenger to government. For Example : if you are purchasing a ticket of suppose 10000 Rs. of Indigo... then Indigo will pay for example Rs. 2000 of that ticket to Zurich International... and Zurich International will pay Rs 400.9 to Govt.

Please help me understand what airlines will fly here? Are all international airlines that operate one daily flight to Delhi choosing to fly Jewar instead of Delhi? or the number of flights will double? if they double then how will it decongest Delhi? This is a big risk bet by the govt with no clear insights. The surroundings of Jewar are unsafe and will need a lot of law and order -who will deploy it? there are so many questions yet no one is asking or answering.
Isn't it more for cargo and goods? Else, IGI has scope for expansion so I agree with you on that aspect.

IGI Airport is just 70kms from this new project. Kya ye project fail ho jayega ?
Agar kisi ko Delhi jana ho to vo future me IGI airport ke flights hi prefer karega naki ek aisa airport jo 70kms hai city se.
Yes it will definitely fail
Project fail hona bahut unlikely hai. Future plan is to use IGI for domestic and some short international routes and Jewar Airport for International Flights. Also good connectivity to jewar airport will be ensured - Yamuna expressway widening, NMRC Metro extension, DME spur is approved and RRTS is proposed. Many other metros like NY, Tokyo, London, LA, Paris, Moscow have multiple international airports with significant passenger traffic.
Beta tum chup raho ...airport traffic jyada hai to bahut se flight jever airport ko jayega ,,, jever airport goods transport hub banega ,,, noida Wale to jever ka flight lenge ,,, Mumbai airport full capecity pe run ho Raha hai to vasi airport ko bhi customer milenge
Delhi Airport pe sbb log sirf Delhi aane k lie nahi aate. Noida and Up ki baki cities k lie bhi aate hain. Noida, Aligarh, Agra idhar ka traffic sbse phle shift hoga idhar. And after completion of Metro, International traffic to many countries would shift here as Delhi Airport is already running at capacity.
Jewar ko mainly cargo ke liye bana rahe he. IGI ka main cargo Noida aur Ghaziabad se aata he. Isiliye pura NCR ka cargo ke liye bada airport chaiye jo IGI ko bhi support kar sath me kare. India ka biggest cargo airport IGI hi he. Mumbai se 2 times bada bi. So ye easy deduction he
2 mahine ho gye ab to new vedio laao
It's good but seeing the amount of construction that's been going on and at what pace September 2024 seems like a tough call. I'd say March-April of 2025 would be a much realistic approach. Cause the construction process in India is very slow as compared to other countries due to everything being manually done instead of automation to create a workforce and jobs.
