    Looks like a lot of fun, brother. I'm jealous. I have family on Port Aransas and spend a lot of time driving around and splashing through these saltwater areas. I cannot stress enough... get that thang up off the ground and spray thoroughly underneath it. My Toyota develops new rust literally overnight when I drive hard down there. The saltwater is pretty bad. My godfather likes to joke that PVC will rust in that town. He's not far wrong.

      Nice man, port aransas is super cool. You are exactly right, it’s so bad. I washed it as soon as we got off the beach then again when I got home lol pvc haha that’s hilarious

    Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I’ve been looking for somewhere to wheel in the sand, I think Matagorda is the closet to me on the MS gulf coast. On your battery check out the Dakota 135ah dual purpose starter battery. It solve my battery problems👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

      Thanks man, Nice I think you’ll like it! it was fun out there, and there wasn’t really any trash in the sand. Seemed like a well respected beach. Ok I’ll check it out! I definitely need something lol I usually have my solar panels on my hood but my vinyl had messed up I need to put them back on.

    Looks like yall had a great time. Matagorda is a special place. Ive caught lots of sharks there. Last year, our group of RZR's went all the way to the end for the first time ever. Was an awesome trip

    Nice! Love y’all’s setups! I run a Kuat Ibex on my 2020 Ram Rebel. Thinking about putting a rooftop tent on it. Not sure though, I use a sweet canvas wall tent. I’m gonna have to go back there, I live in the Galveston area!

    • @bfm_overland
      @bfm_overland  10 дней назад +1

      How do you like the Kuat setup? I’ve heard good things about those. Heck yea man, it’s an awesome place for sure 👊🏼

      @@bfm_overland the Kuat Ibex is the best IMO. (Not sponsored) this system is so cool and so versatile, I run it in the full height, with full Molle panels on both sides and the panel right behind the back window, running Roto Paks (water and gas), shovel, Hi-lift jack, 4 traction boards (2 on each side) kayak rack on top, with room to add more stuff if I want. It was super easy to assemble, took about 2 hours. Everything came packaged super well. It came with mounting hardware for all truck beds, even the hardware for the track system in Toyotas. (I still have that unopened kit if you know someone needing it😂) Most all T-bolts are security bolts and cannot be removed without special tools (supplied)!!!! I ordered my right from Kuat on their website and it will show you what your truck looks like with it on as you build it the way you want! Really AWESOME! The company is really easy to work with and my order was shipped the day I ordered. Super AWESOME, I get compliments everyday (not even kidding). It has the most weight limit on top also, 1250lbs.!!!!! I was super impressed with that!

    Great vid. The vibes out there are so relaxed once you get a few miles down. I wish I would've crossed that small channel, I didn't know it was shallow enough to do so!
