@@Gilgamesh9 And was ported directly from the expansion of the PC game The Sims 2 without problems, well, I can't play the base game on the PC because requires hard things like copy and paste text reading drivers and I got rid of the disc protection, then I tried to play the base game on the GameCube via emulator, the port uses The Urbz engine, this port of the expansion uses the same engine as the PC version.
I searched for so long until I found this perfect video, and the reason is because when I played this on my ps2, I would live in this EXACT house every time, and this is the only video showing the house. Thanks for this

i enjoyed playing this on my Gamecube in early 2000s loved it hehe the only challenging parts were being on time for carpool to work without missing work & risk getting fired, & keeping your mood at Average or Very good, & keeping your Friends close or risk losing them & hearing that creepy sound effect that would sound in the game when you either miss 1 day of work or you lose a friend..
While looking up differences between console/PC and Wii/all other consoles I stumbled across an article that said the Sims 2 Castaway and Sims 2 pets (only on the Wii version) supposedly looks to be closer to the PC version.. (the Wii was said to be one of the most advanced consoles at the time, beating the PS2/GameCube, etc. so apparently the devs put more content and details into that port to make the gameplay and possibly sims as close to PC as possible) Personally I don't see any resemblance other than how the skins on sims look more cohesive and may look just a tad bit closer to PC sims ( Mostly how the eyes shine/look for pets and sims). Playing on emulators is definitely the best way to play though as the upscaling and filters make it look like a recent remaster. (Make sure you have a good PC though otherwise it'll lag and crash D:)

The sims 4 console may have better graphics and content, but the sims 2 console games are so much more fun for its gameplay and the fact that i could actually play multiplayer WITH my siblings

Why does the Buy Mode music genuinely sound like somebody recorded it with their Nintendo DSi? It definitely doesn't sound that bad on the GameCube version. 😂
I remember when I got a copy of the sims 2 pets on ps2. Needless to say.... I didn't like it. The needs drained way too fast, the animals could not be controlled, literally everything was "pet" themed so you couldn't just have a normal house with a pet, the lack of romantic social interactions made things stale, and the game itself kept crashing when i tried to get my sim a job. But i will say this game had it's good parts.
