I don't care about the immersive experience, I care about being able to replace my monitors and have them wherever I go as with probably a lot of other people. Once Immersed Visor has decent reviews, I'm probably going to buy it so long as I can use them for work.

@@ManuelHernandez-tm1mq I'm assuming betweening English and Spanish, something is lost in translation for you. Productivity users are interested in productivity, which means clear screens. That is the baseline for mainstream adoption of this technology "Screens". The vast majority of business users of computer users don't care about games, virtual reality or any of the other fat. The care about working with documents, spreadsheets, software development and internet browsing. Of Course there are users that want to play games and like interacting with avatars and want a computer generated environment instead of the real world, but not me nor do the majority of users.
If immersed gets the baseline right "Screens" they can capture the mass market.

yes, that's a great idea... how stupid do you have to be? Have you already taken a look at what immersed is, i.e. the app. I've already read a few of the comments and the terms and conditions are probably not the same as the rest of the lemmings here. But only share your screen content with a company abroad... and give them all rights to the content. There's hardly anything more that needs to be said. Sometimes I wonder how much understanding the average RUclips user has, but it's probably not that much
Would love to see opacity control into the immersed screens, and the ability to have them stay in one place and not travel with you while you move (the quest menu can do that for example)

Hello @immersed, I'm just starting out as a content creator, I pre-ordered the Founders edition, I feel this devise is gonna be so damn awesome , I'll have my main screen running the game I'm streaming and multiple monitors running all my other web personal pages, Plus I can still see my keyboard , mouse , mic , stream decks etc. I'm hyped , I feel the visor is going to an excellent tool for me to turn my hobby into a career. I can't wait , Thank you for the epic mind blowing tech :D

So do we pair Bluetooth headphones to the visor then for sound? Weren't there issues with BT latency and VR use cases? Has that been solved?

Will it have HDR? I can see this being an alternative to replacing my aging 65 inch LED if so.
What I want to know is how the pass through quality stacks up.
That’s one of the main reasons the AVP is so expensive, alongside with it having desktop level processing power.
Working with a laptop with the Visor is totally fine, but the pass through absolutely needs to be on par.
Does Visor have cooling fan? I'm an audio engineer and having a noise source in front of my ears is pretty serious problem. Thanks!
The visors its no nosy, the processor doesnt need need fans, that meens they don't have any noise , probably it Will put hot , but it's normal
This reminds me of the Newton versus the Pilot (which would later be renamed Palm). Apple packed a lot of impressive tech into a device that was too big and too expensive for the market. The Pilot went with streamlined tech that served the role while keeping price and size down.
I have a list of apps approved for Vision Pro. I did not see Immersed on the list. Can anyone confirm if the Immersed app will be available on launch day for the Vision Pro?

@@RS-mu5cyYou can just buy the visor on its own and don't need a subscription to use it (except for some premium features), or you can get a discounted purchase with a sub.

they're not launching it with that capability no. But it seems as though it's going to be like open source practically which is kind of lit as fuck. so assuming that the hardware is good and people use it, u can probably safely assume that modders will have it doing whatever it is you think it should do within a few months.
But I don't think ita general releas is until late this year or maybe early next year so it wouldn't be until around then.

I want to buy this so bad, but how do I get my prescription lenses if I have glasses. I can't find where to get them.
What I want to know, will I be able to connect my bluetooth logitech mx mini keyboard and my logitech mx master 3S mouse to Visor via bluetooth? And will it translate the input to my PC desktop through the Visor? For example, my Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop can.

I like your app a lot, have done quite a bit with it while traveling. Honestly, you guys are the only reason the Quest Pro was ever usable for anything but gaming. The app library and the ridiculously clean ui/ux of the vision pro is very, very hard to compete with, though. I'll likely still use Immersed for a lot of things, and I'll no doubt maintain a gaming rig, but I'm pretty excited to see Apple's offering. I do think there is massive opportunity, though, for less expensive alternatives. As most standalone headsets are android based, I was always baffled why there wasn't access to the play store available. AR isn't everything, and I've never minded being closed off from the world in my quest pro. That's part of the point. Not needing to have a laptop with me is going to be a big deal, though. I'm curious to see if nvidia go or other game streaming services might work while I'm away from home.

I had the sweaty palms and twitchy fingers when it was time to pre-order the Vision Pro, but I remembered that I use Apple aaand Windows PC's and need something more flexible. To be fair, though, I'd give Apple a point for getting their device into the Customer's hands first. That would make it 2550 to 4. 🙂 Can't wait for my Founder's Edition!!!

I’m considering what router to get (if I’m unable to use WiFi Direct). Will the Visor be able to take advantage of 6GHz Wi-Fi 6E networks?
From what I could Tell 5ghz is all you need more then that It does not improve noticable, with 5g wi-fi i already have a 20ms no issues

I've heard those rumors and they make no sense. Why would a company who has a large market share in a field and is doing well try to scam people for much less money than they're already making...? They would loose far more than they'd gain by it.
On top of that, why would so many big names attach themselves to it and potentially loose millions of dollars due to the bad PR?
That's not including that they're promising delivery in a matter of months from now. If someone wanted to scam, that would be super dumb. The smart scammers that use platforms like Kickstarter always drag things out for a few years, the reason being is that they know anyone who used a CC just has to complain and it will be a chargeback. The limit on that is generally between 2-3 years.
Do I think it's going to be buggy in the beginning due to the extremely rushed timeline? absolutely, they were still making hardware changes a few months ago. I'm willing to put up with some bugs to get one as soon as possible though, that's why I went for founders edition.
Honestly, I have been following this product for so long and has once almost made the preorder. But the more I follow, the more I feel that this company is so good at marketing but never even show a real product.
If it is so good, let some one we can trust to review it instead of keep on talking about how great is it. Everyone can talk about how great the concept is but not everyone can actually make it happen.

@@ImmersedXR So if it's not tethered to a computer it has it's own built in OS? If so what can the OS do on it's own? I read the website and this isn't very clear. Like the Vision Pro can run apps like Netflix for instance. Are those types of apps built into Visor? It's specifically says there won't be an app store which is fine as long as the apps are built into the headset from the start. I've never used Immersed so thats why I am asking. Al already have a Vision Pro coming on Feb 2nd but would not mind adding the Visor for a lite weight option in addition to the Vision Pro.
@@damiengvideos4337 from my understanding as a user and digging through chats threads and blog posts, the OS is the application that runs on the quest and other headsets. They are expanding features on the application that fill in missing os features like they are building a native web browser. I assume it will support PWA applications out the door, and part it is open source so side loading apps and modifications is very possible with the support of the dev community. Also there is a rumor that you will be able to build your own rooms and spaces. Currently the app has quite a few premade spaces. Hope that helps a little.

How do you get immersed on the Apple Vision Pro

Not for gaming. No controllers, no base station, no builtin support for external controllers and no support for SteamVR or anything of the sort.
It's completely open so the community could hack in support but you'd still need to purchase your own compatible controllers and base station separately when and if that happens.
would love if you bring Immersed to Chromebooks too. Then you have it all!

I love it the glasses but I don’t NEED another monthly bill.. Will these glasses still have optimum options WITHOUT the monthly membership?
Yes. You still get all the features of Immersed without the subscription. You still have to purchase at least a year if subscription as it comes bundled with he price but after that you're free to not renew it with no penalties besides not being able to access the premium only features.
When is it coming out and does it feature games and if not does it support webxr?
I am super excited about the Visor 4k. But the visual clarity is so important to me that I will wait for reviews before I will order one. I would be less concerned if people would not claim high visual clarity on the likes of the QPro while I regard it as “eye cancer”. Additionally, I am a bit worried if 100 degree field of view will be enough.
For the moment, I'm targeting the Visor for purchase. It seems like a more compelling gen 1 AR product. Don't let me down Immersed!

@@iraklimgeladze5223 well that depends on which preferences people have, there is a lot of people who sometimes only uses oculus vr headsets to play steam games that support vr
Another thing to keep in mind is that games found in the oculus store can sometimes also be found on steam.
Love your work brother. I know there's no way around the bandwidth limitations of DisplayPort. My main problem has been display lag since I use VR for trading. Looking forward to your Visor release.

The founder has stated it's similarish to the Quest 3 but with a higher resolution. That's all we currently know.
I'm sooo close from preordering the founders edition... My main use would be 1. media consumption, 2. working and 3. gaming.
What's the latency in wired mode? And is the image going through compression like on oculus/pico? If yes and it's noticable then that would be a dealbreaker for me
All specs I see on interwebs are not from official site, I would love *@ImmersedXR* to answer this if possible.
Same latency as USB-C mode that we already offer, but is pretty much instantaneous (sub 10ms). It's not like wireless compression on Quest/Pico.

@@ImmersedXR After thinking about it for some time, would it be possible to connect the visor directly to the PC's gpu? Maybe through displayport->usb-c adapter? I would be worried about extra latency connecting to motherboard of a PC where the image has to be transferred from gpu back to cpu's igpu, I'm guessing, to output it through usb-c (whether is displayport or something else). I could be wrong here as I don't have the technical know-how
@@EndiFreeKolesio - I know what you mean. I’ve never owned a VR headset. It is surprising to me that that much graphics information could pass along any peripheral connection that isn’t a dedicated GPU without hiccups or loss. I’m also somewhat confused as to why VR headsets don’t accept input directly from HDMI/DP.
Unfortunately we can’t because the chip doesn’t support that in conjunction with running it as a standalone device. It can only be built to do one or the other. So we chose the standalone approach because that has way more capability.

For VISOR USERS, what’s the difference between the Immersed Pro subscription and the Visor+ Membership?
- Will the Visor normally run Immersed Free (3 screens) or Immersed Pro (5 screens)?
- Since the Visor+ Membership comes with Visor pre-orders, is that membership the reason the Visor has 5 virtual screens which would revert to 3 screens if the Visor+ membership isn’t renewed?
Visors will have 5 screens no matter what. You don’t lose it. Immersed Pro has other features too.

Yes it can run directly off your smartphone. Visor is a standalone headset so it doesn’t require a computer to use. More info at Visor.com
While yes, as they've said you can use it directly with your smart phone, keep in mind both devices currently need to be connected to the same wifi network. Maybe you can get away with a hotspot but that's yet to be seen. Worst case you might need to carry around a travel router and battery pack just in case to have some form of LAN.

HTC XR Elite already out, Immersed provided partly featured app for it (no see through for keyboard or laptop display). Seems they dropped support.

Vision air will be much thinner and even battery attachment for back , it's basically not 4k per eye for one , they will either use a simple touch Id for the one, the extra res loss helps the m2 cope and makes games easier to develop for the vision air , I like to sprinkle the future here and there

They’re two very different products. This has 2x the field of view and gives you multiple screens in VR and AR.

It does not. It would have to be streamed.
@ImmersedXR that's a bummer. Adding display port over usbc would make this a basically perfect device.
Unfortunately the latest Qualcomm chip can't support running the application and DP simultaneously. Hopefully the next gen can.

On the Immersed Linux compativility though, you need to point the caviat that you cant create virtual screens in the Immersed software like you can in Windows or Mac.
You need to either have another monitor plugged in or use a monitor emulator so that Linux thinks it has another monitor to only then be able to stream this monitor into Immersed

What would that mode do?
Yes there will be so that your screens don’t float away as your vehicle moves.
keeps windows moving with you inside a moving vehicle; theres a few ways to "accomplish" this, but its one thing the meta quest 3 lack right now(there adding it tho ?; you can make it 3 DOF and remove the passthrough on plane as stop gap I suppose tho.)@@More_Row

First and foremost it's a productivity device meant to provide multiple screens for working. You'll be able to use it for VR videos and a big media consumption yes but the batteries only last 2-3 hours.

I love the energy you are hoping to create with this video. The approach is great and I really want to trust you guys. But many things still seem off.
- Why do you never show the computing unit of the Visor? I'm all in for having a lightweight device and carrying the battery and CPU strapped via cable in my pocket or strapped to my body or whatever idea you've got for it. But you seem quite laconic about it. It's like it does not exist. And we all know it's gotta be somewhere, we all know it's not in the goggles itself. It's actually a good thing, why hide it? I'm all for external computing & power units for XR goggles.
- Immersed app rocks. I use it on Quest 3. All I lack is resolution. Visor seems to either be an absolute blast or an absolute flop. When will you give us a hint about release date? Screw release date, give us realease quarter at least. You compare it to Vision Pro, but will you make it before Vision Pro 2? (I bet you will, but you get my point)

The quality you want to offer and hype you are trying to generate in comparison to how transparent you are about the product makes it either look like a scam or like you are trying to hide some obvious downside of the Visor. And I don't want to believe that, I'm really keen on finding out Visor is freakin ballin and look forward to getting one myself.
We don't have approval from our tech partners (who also have intellectual property in the device) to show it off yet this quarter. We have approval for next quarter.

When are the first reviews
I just want to know how it is to work with software development with visor. Simple as that. But none video or VR/AR seems to care.
Their website states there will be no app store or support for 3rd party developers but the Visor wont be locked down so you can modify it software wise as you want.
The most common user we have is software developers. It's amazing for coding.
Sorry, I misunderstood the question.. ;) I use immersed on my Q3 for Software development on my Mac and it works well.

No. Nobody is saying that because you can't.
Visor will NOT ship with any sort of SteamVR support or anything of the sort and it also won't come with controllers. You'll require your own controllers, base stations and have to wait for someone to hack SteamVR support together before this is even remotely possible.
