I am going to love putting this border on my washcloths from now on. I love how simple it is and how it cleans up the edges. Thanks so much for sharing your method.
I'm just starting a C2C baby blanket for our neighbor who's expecting a boy in May, and am so glad to come across this video. Plus, thanks Barbara Watts for the idea adding a picot between the 3dc's - that should add a nice touch without making the blanket too "girly". 😀
I made a beautiful C2C blanket for my son and his partner and I was looking for a border that wasn’t too fussy. I think this is perfect. ❤️ thanks for sharing. This border brings me back to the basics of crocheting that I learned over 40 years ago.
This is the best way to finish that I've found, it's the easiest and looks the best. ❤ And the narrator sounds just like Shania Twain lol. Pleasant to listen to 🙂
I crocheted the first border (the one she did in green) for all my c2c squares in white and pastel colour blend yarn, then I connected them all with white and sparkle white and now I'm doing the border of the whole blanket with the final border she shows in his video (dc)with pink and white yarn twisted together, looks so pretty, thank you lots for this video, also I find that American terms are much easier to follow
@@SecretYarnery after you finish the first round of white and u chain 1 do you then go into each space or into the top of the V and do you still do 5 double crochet in the corners
Love your method. Like many others, I have been crocheting for many years. First learned C2C recently. Was just single crocheting my borders which never looked good. Doing a charity blanket, it looks fantastic with your border!
Loved how simply you did this Christa. I also love how you join in a new colour without tying a knot. Gotta do it like that in the future! Good tip! Thanks. Blessings. Kerryn
Oh my gosh. I am just going to finish a c2c rubber duckie blanket. It is for a baby shower next week. The couple is not announcing the gender and I didn’t want the scallop edge because I think it’s too frilly. This is going to be perfect! Thank you.
This os the easiest and best border i have seen for any c2c piece of work. Love❤❤❤ it. This is my "go to" when finishing any c2c blanket or face washer. Thank you Christa!☺🇦🇺❤❤
Love the c2c border, simple, easy and direct. Do you have a tutorial video on how to join c2c squares? My son wanted a c2c blanket, but made from a bunch of squares rather than on large blanket. I have about a total of 80 squares to join.
I have done this border on a couple of C2C blankets and it works perfectly. Thank you for yr great video. I want to do a 3rd row to make it a bit wider. How would I do that? 3 DC in each space?
I just finished a C2C Baby/Throw Blanket. 😊... Searching for a simple border. I found this one today! Thank you so much for sharing! You're so easy to follow along with! New Sub🤗... Peace and Love Always💖💜🧡💛💚💙❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been struggling with my C2c boarders and your wonderful video just made it so easy for me. Thanks again and I am definitely subscribing to your channel for further tips and inspiration!
I’m doing a C2C at the moment with a variegated yarn. Would it look odd to carry on with all rounds of the border. Or should I choose just one block colour? #newbie
Thank you so much for doing this video! I have been searching high and low for a border tutorial for a c2c crochet as my work won't sit flat everytime I try!
I noticed that in a couple of places, you did a slip stitch followed by the single crochet and was wondering if that was intentional. I think it looks nice, so I may give that a try. Thanks for posting your tutorial. I've looked at several C2C border tutorial and like yours the best!
Thanks so much, I followed your tutorial and was so happy with how my blanket turned out! For my next blanket, I'd like to try using use half double crochet. Would I still need to do three stitches into each loop?
Hi Christa, Love to begin with you started with a simple border but I love that it matches the rest of the c2c squares. At least there is an illusion that its part of the same pattern. Wahoo!
