Thank you! I’ve been wanting a simple border pattern not using much yarn. It’s beautiful and I already use contrasting or harmonizing yarn as border. 🧶
I stumbled upon this border on my own as I was trying to use up the last of the yarn on the project I was on. I was wondering if it had a name or anything. Glad to see that someone else has found this stitch.
Love this. Thank you for this excellent tutorial. You are a great crochet teacher. Clear directions, lovely voice, perfect camera position. I am looking forward to finding more of your videos. New subscriber.
Perfect timing I’m always going back through and trying to find an easy border. Well I was crocheting with number 10 thread and my Dooley I’m done with it so I need it easy simple border cause I’m gonna play chicken.
I'm new and I still don't have my side edges under control! I think that a border would maybe make it look a little more uniform. Or maybe I just want to think that! Oh well, it's still fun...
Thank you for sharing. I do have a question. Could you do this same stitch and go around twice to make the border thicker? Would it still look ok? SlI am new, so I am not sure what is OK or not yet.
Relax Ms. Roach!! You do not "male" any sense! I honestly don't know how she could have explained this any clearer. Don't blame the creator for your own incompetency. You act as if your human rights have been violated.
Love the look of this Edging! Thanks for sharing 💖
Easier than the crab stitch as well! Sweet!
If you like the look of the crab stitch, but don’t like working backwards, look up twisted single crochet. You will not be disappointed.
wow it's easy and very pretty! Thanks for the video
Love this! I love that you don't over talk like others do!
Thank you ❤️
Love this easy border just finished blanket and ready to start the edges x
That border is so cute and looks easy!
Super easy 👌
I think I'll use this edging on my next blanket...which I'm working on now.

You know, I'm not sure of the name, maybe there isn't one 😊
Very pretty border! I’ve used it a few times over the past month.

This was a great tutorial, thank you so much!
Thank you! 🩷
Excellent tutorial!!
I love this boarder! Does anyone know if there is a way to double it up to make it thicker or go around 2 times?
Thank you for sharing
I´ll do that! Thank you!
Very pretty. Do you have a video for the stitch of the sample blanket you showed? Thanks!
I would love to know as well 😢
Right on time for a project of mine. Thank you.
Glad to help ♥️
Me too... 🎉
Love the border but wish you had shown us how to completely end the last stitch
She does say how to end it at approximately 4:35 time stamp… hope this helps someone 💕👍🏼
But she does. At 4:25. She shows the last slip stitches. Then you just finish up and sew in the tail.
She does, and normally you just end the last stitch with a slip stitch and sew in any ends.
She only shows the last corner, which is usually crocheted differently than the other corners.
Thanks I will have to use this border sometime. 😊❤
That's very good. Thanks for sharing it with us 💐
Lovely so easy Thankyou 🎉
❤ Love it! Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊

Border definitely does make the edges look better 😊
Love It....Easy, Fast and Cute...!!! 😃🥰
Very nice 🎉many thanks
Thank you!!
I did this but I did 3 rows of it with the 2nd and 3rd row doing 2 chain with the sl st
I'm using 2 stitches in my blanket, dc and sc. The sc are on the edges of the blanket, do I do one sc around the whole thing?
Yes, because you need it on the sides too
I put this lovely boarder on the edge of the ponchos I make. I put it on the neckline and the bottom.
When doing the slip stitch / chain 1, how many do you put in each corner around?
I think she just went around without putting more in the corner.
Love this edging. Do you put extra stitches in the corners?
You put extra scs in the corners before you do the border
She clearly explains and demonstrates in the video.
Thank you, sorry I missed it in the video.
Border pattern starts 3.26 time...but the border is good thank you
Could you do it a 2nd time? Or is meant to just be one time around?
Just one time around
Can two rows of slip stitch border be worked in where ch -1 space is? Just wondering.
Just asking can you do a second 0r more rows please and thank you .
Technically, you can, but you won't have the same look. It's meant to be one row only
What about a herringbone half double crochet stitch how much would you do there?
What nail color are you wearing?
Press on nails 💅 😉
I love Everything You teach me, thank you Yana 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you
I like this BUT it would have been helpful to see what you did at the corners
What is the stitch that is used for the example project that you put the border on?
It's just a single crochet
Thank you for sharing. I do have a question. Could you do this same stitch and go around twice to make the border thicker? Would it still look ok? SlI am new, so I am not sure what is OK or not yet.
No, unfortunately you can do only one round of this
❤
Wish icould locate the full pattern on this
❤👌😍🙏
Did NOT male any sense. Bad training!!!
Not difficult. Single crochet around, three singles in each corner.
