I know I’m late in saying this but it’s worth saying anyway, this is an absolutely STELLAR remix! Easily my fav of all time! What irks me with the original and some remixes from others I’ve heard is the excessive and annoying crowd chanting. It’s still present towards the end of this version but it fits nicely, isn’t over used and compliments they incredible beat and melody you are known for! Thank you so much for this!
Still love sword and shield, replaying on emulator in 4K is crazy. The animations them gym leaders have are awesome and i wish there were more animations like that in the game, clearly they are capable of making them.

I wish like the music varies from each of the gym leaders, while keeping the same piece but with a bit alteration, but damn. This was the first to get me hyped on a gym battle, the old ones were good too but it was too serious, you know you're in for a fight. This however was fun to listen to, you know you're in a fight yet having fun, then when it comes to the final push the crowds just starts cheering.

Sword and shield was far from the best pokemon game. I say that as someone whos been with it since the beginning. But it definitely got the best energy and vibes for gym battles. This is what the pokemon league always should have been. A sport.
