Ffestiniog Railway Bygones Weekend 07/10/2023

Here we see footage of the Ffestiniog Railway's Bygones Weekend on Saturday 07/10/2023. The event saw most of the FR's available steam locos in traffic and recently out shopped Double Fairlie 'James Spooner' making a cameo appearance, shunting at Porthmadog Harbour Station.
In this video, we focus on views of the line around the top of Penrhyn and Rhiw Goch, namely 100mph Straight, Rhiw Goch Farm Crossing & Cei Mawr. Locomotives featured are David Lloyd George, Blanche, Lyd, Merddin Emrys & Britomart. Spooner's Boat is also seen having been taken up to Tan y Bwlch behind the DLG.

Good stuff, it was a decent gala and a nice way to get back into Welsh stuff. I'd love to have a crack at firing some of the stuff you have down there, if only I lived a little closer!
